And again...
Info:
- MSN is still in Chinese
- Keyboard issue hasn't been fixed
- Programs made by the current SDK work fine
Changelog:
- Acceleration sensor/Infrared sensor settings in System Settings
- New Meizu installer (no more Windows CE interface while installing a program), altough there's no uninstaller yet. Also I was not able to install NetCF because it kept installing it in the wrong location (Device\%CE2%\)...and it's all in Chinese.
Update: NetCF and english WinCE package can be installed via explorer.exe in Windows directory the old fashioned way! Probably english WinCE mui files too.

- Adjusted Camera interface

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsI assume there will be a quick fix for this, in the next few days (or even hours).

Maybe it's deliberate? It would be a wise move for them to only allow SDK-apps to be launched in order to streamline things for their App Store.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Hopefully the Official version will be out soon and will have some of the issues resolved.
Question to nice2know_u:
In the screen shot you have something called M8BigMenuBar...
What is this and how does this work.
Also, the M8Flashplugin, does it work? I had something like this installed some tome back, but did not seem to work and was in Chinese...
Enlighten me please...

M8BigMenuBar does the same as M8Sprite's "Adjust title bar height" option. It makes windows ce title bars and buttons bigger.
Flash plugin was very buggy last time I tried, so I didn't share it.

Thanked 9 Times in 5 PostsWas M8 Sprite already on your M8? If that's the case, then you open the file explorer (Documents) and you'll find M8 Sprite in the Disk folder. Double click and it will appear again. Similarly, you need to reinstall each application again. If your M8 phone didn't have M8 Sprite, then download it (search the site) and paste it on your phone and do as above.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsMeizu is intended to release the M series to the foreign market. But it seems that they are still doing market research and other leagal preparations. At least I once talked about this issue with one of the staff in Meizu company and she said the foreign market dept. is busy working on that. But I guess M8 may not make it since it is still not perfect and it may only serve as a test product in general. So I believe when the M9 or maybe M10 comes out, it will probably make it to the foreign market and then you guys will be happy.(If you have the patience to wait and if your love for Meizu can last that long...) And as far as I know, the M9 will have inbuilt GPS and 3G support. So, let wait and see.
