sound good, wifi good, but i can tfind the button to import conatcts! instead of 'Contact Manager' it says 'Send Contact' which isnt import contacts! recorder is good though...

when you backup your phone in the settings menu, it automatically includes your contacts. it has been like this from a few upgrades ago. which version fw are ya using?

you have to go to system->backup (or something like that) and restore settings (including contacts) from there

i guess contact manager got merged into backup function

look below: Step 1: First confirmed you have a contact backup in DISK - CONTACT - BACKUP the VCF format (This step is most important, we must verify that all contact files exist)
Step two:in the new firmware, enter the Settings - System - data backup - backup , generate a new backup file, the file name is date + time, such as 20090327181818 .
Step three: enter the settings - USB mode - U disk mode, connect to the computer .
four steps: enter the DISK - CONTACT - BACKUP folder contact for all CTRL + C
Five steps: enter the DISK - BACKUP – 20090327181818- CONTACTS folder, delete all the files, and then press CTRL + V.
six steps: normal removable USB.
seven Step ：enter the Settings - System - data backup - just point out that the backup file name 20090327181818
the new backup folder is DISK - BACKUP now.

Shame on them they didnt translate the messenger , that would have not been a big deal imo.But the open and close window looks good .I still hope they can improve shutter speed from the camera and fix up the browser for better internet use.Way to go meizu , please employ some more programmers .Sometimes i have the feeling J.W sits there alone with one Programmer .Overall its an improvement over the last firmware but not as big as i expected .

but on my earlier fw version i merged contacts to card... so ive lost my contacts... b****r.

After the 0903-2 upgrade this is the next most worthy upgrade.
My major gripe about the GPRS & Phone Call issue has been resolved

I tested the browser yesterday, and it worked fine, did not have the time to test the speeds, I will do it today, but all the 0903-2 applications that I have been using work...

I am still not fully OK as I am still just testing this version ands in the back of my mind.. I am thinking that I might have to go back to 0903-2 again... but so far so good.

merged contacts to the sim card?You can copy contacts from sim card to phone.In the PHONE-SETTEING-SIM MANAGER,If it can not word ,please reset reg ,

I'm pretty unhappy with the Recorder icon & almost sure that it wasn't designed by eico designs.

You can also copy the contacts to phone; then you click (on documents->...) on the contact and then save!

I am experiencing a loss of volume with this FW. It sounds like the phone is at 50% volume. I have increased the volume settings on the phone, and in the sound settings, but my ringer is not very loud.

The music and video are also affected by the low volume. The sound is low when using the headphones as well.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Downloaded the M8 Volume Controller and reset the volume to 100%. Now LOUD! Yippee!

I have just noticed a problem with this Firmware. In all previous firmwares, I had not problem with SMS. Now I can not send an SMS because it somehow is adding a 1555 in front of the number. When I select the recipient, it does not show up, but after sending, I get a response back saying that the number 15557081231234 is invalid. The number as sent was 7081231234.

Is there a setting I need to change? It just seems strange that I did not have this problem until this upgrade.

What about the voice message notification? Still missing?

Beefaronee, Did you resolve the 1555 issue? I am having the same problem.

Do you have the 0.9.2.7 Firmware?

Yes, I have 927. When I had 905 this didn't happen.
