Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSome enhancements for the calendar (maybe something has already changed in current 0.9.1.x, I use 0.9.0.5 at the moment):
- Show and edit birthdays from phone contact list (with an other colour for the dot).
- Alarm options should have a "no alarm" coice - e.g. for birtsday or holiday entries
- Terms across more than one day should be marked at every of these days. (e.g. as grey dot)
- Set time without the keyboard (delete old value and enter a new for hour and minute field is too cumbersome). A drop down, slider or spinner would be faster.
- In list view the list should scroll to the upcoming term. At least the "today" button should do this.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI might be saying something dumb (which is likely since I don't know anything about the m8 yet), but doesn't anyone think that something that is missing in the m8 is :
- A Flash module for the browser, so we can watch streaming videos on youtbe and stuff (like deezer too)
Personnaly, this is the ONLY thing that is stopping me of buying a m8, and that makes me hesitate with the iPhone (which I don't like compared to the specs of the M8)

I don't understand what's bad about the iPhone 3GS' specifications compared to the M8; for the most part it runs quite fast now. It's just the price and plans that are stopping me from getting it, and more importantly, don't want to suck up to Apple.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThis is also the same for me, I don't want to be sucked in the Apple community. I still prefer the M8, because, desides the wide apple community, the Meizu m8 still has more features.
A better screen, better PRICE, reads more different kinds of audio and video, doesn't need the horrible iTunes to work, and personnaliy, I prefer the UI of the meizu.

Meizu M8 Firmware Wishlist
hello, one thing that it does not work is the *#(Numbers)#. it´s very useful. allot of mobile phone operators use it.
if you have in the phone list a phone number with the country code and someone calls, the phone does not id the caller.
i think meizu is a great phone and has a lot of potential. thank you

The only thing that I am wishing for in the newest release...is the same thing I have always been waiting for. I want to be able to send MMS messages in the US....it doesn't seem to work on Tmobile or AT&T US..

Thanked 2 Times in 2 PostsHas anyone seen the new iphone firmware? It has some nice functions that I wouldn't mind seein on the m8. one of them is the rotating keyboard in the sms, another is a search screen in the phone to search everything from a simple word to a contact.
-
08-15-2009 #98
I still think the search is a gimmick, I tried my friend's to find text messages and it couldn't do it. It can only find the big things, which for me is still quite useless. Also, rotated SMS should have came with the iPhone, and many phone features it has now were the standard in 2005!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsBetter support for bluetooth carkit
Using the M8 with bluetooth carkit is terrible.
Pairing my meizu with my nokia CK-7W carkit goes well.
But each time i go into my car, it's a guess what the meizu will do.
Will it connect to the carkit automatic or do have to do it manually or doesn't it work at all through the carkit.
And the other big problem is that the person how calls me, hear him/herself twice a second later. Everyone how calls me is complaining about this.
Before i bought this meizu m8, i had 2 nokia's and a htc touch dual and the htc diamond.
All these telephone didn't had these problems.
Hopefully this bug will be fixed soon.
