I'd love to get contextual menu in the photo viewer which would allow to directly set a picture as background/call/lock wallpaper or to set it as a contact picture. It's boring to have to go to settings>wallpaper or go to the phonebook and edit each contact one by one!

Also I'd like to get the same kind of contextual menu when browsing music files to allow setting a music file as default/contact ringtone

A basic photo editor app would be appreciated (change size, cut, change orientation...)

And last for today (but I don't know if it should be in the bug list or in the wishlist): when sending a file via bluetooth while BT is switched off the M8 will ask you if you want to switch BT on. But once the file is sent BT doesn't switch off automatically and you have to switch it off manually through settings menu!

It make me think that I'd appreciate a shortcut on the desktop for communications management (BT/WIFI/EDGE)

+1 on the wallpaper settings, and the photo editor.

The only problem I am having is that I am unable to send or receive MMS messages through TMOBILE USA. Finally figured out the problem w/sending SMS messages. Also, for some reason all of my contacts come up in Chinese when I get a phone call, even though I have my phone set to English.

Would be nice if long filenames and directory names could scroll left when you hold your finger on them to see all the characters. M6 had this feature and it's quite useful so why not

i would like to have oversized wallpapers...think about using a wallpaper with a resolution of 1440x720 and it should slide with the icons...

I would really love to see Voice Announce added. This is the feature I miss most. My other phone will announce the name of the caller, or the number if the caller is not in the address book. Of course, the issue of reconciling incoming numbers to the address book will have to be fixed for this feature to work.

I tried adding Microsoft Voice Command, but alas, it does not work with this operating system.

What really would be a advancement:

The Caps button press once to write big.
Automatically continue writing in small.

Press the caps-lock twice remain writing big.

Another thing that bugs me : if the phone is on silent, and you've set an alarm, it only vibrates when it goes off, there is no sound. There should be an option to enable that. I know it can be solved with m8profile, but that's a silly workaround.
