M8 Firmware 0.8.0.3

It seems that 0.8.0.2 was never officially released. Nevertheless, here comes the changelog for this version.

1. Support for contact export and import
2. Call History: Last number called is now in a distinctive color
3. Fixed some SIM management bugs
4. Changed the way volume is adjusted
5. Adjusted the number of words per page e-book. To use the new version of the e-book feature, please delete the old versions of Ebook.ini and Ebook.dat
6. More SMS settings
7. New GPRS settings: proxy server, proxy port
8. Changed the way desktop icons can be moved
9. Fixed a bug where e-mails were sent without a subject
10. Fixed the problem where the screen would sometimes brighten automatically
11. Music player now supports CUE file
12. Optimization of wallpaper feature

0.8.0.3_2 is now out that allegedly speeds up the video library update.

these bugfixes are not that big, maybe they are finally getting the fw to work properly?
but i wonder if the wifi function will remain in the fw, if the official version will not even hae the chip. and furthermore, if they will develop that part too.

the optimization of the wallpaper feature means that now it uses 16million colors to display wallpapers instead of the 65k in previous firmwares. JW also said they are still working on the picture browser to achieve the same results.

How do you run the new firmware? Shall it support English better?

The link to 0.8.0.3 doesn't work, but the the link to 0.8.0.3_2 works fine for me. You may want to upload it to the Meizu Me servers for archiving.
