this is not an official list, just from some member of the BBS. source: [link]

1. when opening the WiFi, not connected, just displaying a grey icon, doesn't display signal strength. only displaying signal when connected.
2. operator settings function
3. fixed when battery low, trying to take pictures results in some bug
4. in video recording mode the frame skipping is fixed (by changing the image processing from single streamline and single caching to dual streamline and dual caching)
5. the administrating function of the contacts adjusted
6. added support for SIM card contacts
7. added function of saving the number from the dialing (and call log) screen.
8. repaired the bug of the input tool when sending messages from the contact details screen
9. the color of the characters and background can now be set while reading ebooks, increased the range of text size setup.
10. fixed the bug when opening the edited ebooks (displaying had some errors)
11. adjusted the GSM call audio frequency, resolving the cracling sound and noise during calls.
still remaining BUGS:
1 screen shining when turning device off
2 portrait mode 9 button text input
3 browser "save file" problem
4 disortion problem while taking pictures, speed of taking pictures still slow

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYou know I typically don't buy 1st gen tech for this reason, but I want one of these so bad that I'll make an exception this one time.

I could live with a device with bugs as long as I knew that they were working on it, which they are. But no Wi-Fi means a no buy for me. Maybe I'll find a test model with Wi-Fi sometime.

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostNice! Little by little, they seem to be ironing out all the bugs

Also, bugfix number 11 is great news! (I'm guessing this is the bad reception problem mentioned before) So not only it was fixable by firmware update, but it seems to be fixed now!

Thanked 34 Times in 21 Postsaccording to somebody in the forums, there still seems to be some problem with connectiong to corporate wifi networks. even though it should be supported in the new FW to set up operator details, but still it seems not to work properly for now. anyway, should be fine with common routers.

I have no problem connecting to Wifi networks, both secured and unsecured.
Feel like the Wifi got slower after updating with latest firmware, but it could be my slow connection.
