Restoring Backup, While Keeping Contact Names on txts?

Hi there,

I enjoy trying out new firmwares and installing android and whatnot on my M8, but one thing that has always bugged me is that when I restore my backup after flashing M8, when it restores my txt messages, none of my contact names show, it is only the +61... Where-as beforehand they did show contact names.

Is there any fix to this other than manually re-entering each contact's number in +61 format?

are your contacts, stored in the address book, in the same format as you can see in the message log?

I am pretty sure that the format doesn´t match.

the format in the sms app is +61... whereas in my address book i've put everyone as 04... (australia)

I'm assuming the only way to prevent this is to re-enter each number in my phonebook as +61...?
