Finally! An 800MHz WinCE firmware! Everything is smoother than before (especially gaming). Sound quality is better and louder than previous firmwares. It works fine on M8SE with glass screen but should work on others too.
How to install:
- Clear registry (must be done)
- Install it like a default firmware
0.9.9.94 (old)
- 800MHz
- Louder music volume
- No resolution limit in photo viewer
- Music key only works when music player is running
- SMS interface optimizations
- Replaced file attributions (?)
- RMVB support
- RAR and ZIP support
- MortScript integrated
- Optimized JPEG quality
- Creating dual-boot with Android is possible
- Some other optimizations

Thanked 481 Times in 147 PostsIt should work on all M8s. The 6410 processor can easily run at 800MHz. Just when running CPU-intensive tasks the phone can feel a little bit more hot than normal but is not very dangerous.

Thanked 67 Times in 32 PostsLike nice2know_u says, it's an unofficial fw.
I recently changed my battery, so I don't want to force my new one with overclocked fw. Here is an alternative modified fw running with 553mhz:
Google Traductor
Changes:
1. Increase the earpiece volume
2. Picture Viewer does not limit the resolution
3. Disabled music button on FE and RE versions when music player is closed
4. To the SMS screen added drag bar (¿?)
5. Replace the ownership of the Forum to the latest file (¿?)
6. In order to distinguish the official firmware, the version number changed to 9.9.91 (actually or 9.9.23)
7. Unlock Karaoke mode on Music Player

Thanked 72 Times in 49 PostsJust flashed 800MHz version, already found a few minor bugs... Sliding in menu is not working all the time, sometimes You have to do it 3 - 4 times. Also when You are in chat and get a new message You have to close it and open again to see that message

EDIT: Volume buttons not working at all for meLast edited by vytautas_g; 02-05-2011 at 03:49 PM.

well i don't have problems with volume buttons but sometimes the menu can get slow but it isn't so bad and the thing is it isn't soo faster it is slightly faster in some things like with playing video or wieving your photos, and it is all good but i would really like to see new UI for our M8.
