Will meizu m8 1.0 firmware ever be released?

hi guys...

stupid question but, will meizu m8 1.0 firmware ever be released... ?
I tired from these leaked versions and stuff...

Maybe I'll try androyd. But it is more buggy than wince...
No bluetooth, a bit confusing to me, menu looks ugly and etc...

Honestly I don´t think we can expect any new firmware for the m8.
It looks like Meizu placed all their engineers on the upcoming m9 .

today I've seen a post , something about J.Wong promissing not to leave m8 customers without android... Can't say 100%, because of google translator... :D will try to find that post again

Its not so confusing.
I personaly dont think there will be a 1.0
(anyway its just a number and 0.9.9.18 is stable enough)

Android is and will always be 'only' a user project and as that it is very young.
Maybe some things will never work and nobody will ever be able to guarantee a next release.
Maybe it will get faster should LBE release their sources.

you see. my sim card not working good wit these new UI like 0.9.9.18... I don't know why, maybe with 1.0 would be the same problem..
with old UI everything is working fine...
with new UI, not working free sms campaign...

I maybe make a custom firmware when I got my M8 back. I already have a lot of ideas how to customize and optimize it.

with new UI, I cant send free sms with my "omnitel ežys" sim card. other card "Bitė LABAS" working fine.
I ordered a free sms plan for month and, plan is activated sucesfully, but I still pai for each SMS... free sms plan is not working with new ui. with old ui it was working good. Oh and my battery life is short. (old battery)

Weird. I never saw anyone complaining about such issue. Are you sure the problem isn't at your side? I probably can't help you, sorry...

I don't really know what you are talking about (Bitė LABAS, omnitel ežys, free sms plan ), but what more can your M8 do than sending a sms?
You still pay for a sms? That means your M8 sends your sms! Everything seems to work. Is there something you have to configurate on your phone to send free sms? Normally you just put your sim card into your phone and everything should work. The price of a sent sms should depend on your provider/contract but not on your firmware. But again, I haven't ever heard of a "free sms plan"..

I can live without FW 1.0 too. The latest (custom) firmwares are nice and stable.

I think it's the carrier and not a phone problem. Maybe the carrier registered your phone's IMEI when the sim card was in another phone, to prevent cheating them off free SMS.

yep, Iam from same country as him, already tryed omnitel ezys, and free sms works just fine... So something is wrong either with Your sim card or settings made by it... Try to use sim with other phone and clear registry in meizu, then try again

I'll try to clean my registry, but whait. how to do this ?
If it will not work. I'll reset all my system, and format disc. If it allso will not work, I'll burn my sim card and buy another "ežys", or just "tele2"..

Your free sms works with new and old UI ?

for a registry reset hold power and m button on startup.
i think you shouldn't use the backup restore option, it may reset the cleared settings.

anyway, i also never heard about this.

now the Meizu M8 has been put out of production by Apple im not sure if they will bother to finish it. I really hope they do for people who already have the M8 but they really are turing all of their attention to the M9 and Apple now.
