Custom Firmware n427 9.9.18

Found the firmware here: Click! I don't really know what's new but as we know the russian firmwares they are all worth to get on our M8s.

After installing it shows 9.8.21. it is not 9.9.18

Could you tell us what's new in that firmware? By the way: Would it be possible for you to get the MSN Client on the M8 working with GPRS/EDGE?

One question: I am looking for some software like a keymapper. I would like to use the buttons for launching programms or switch on / off Bluetooth, WLAN, mute etc.
A few years ago I bought similar thing from symbian wave (RUS): Magic Launcher for Sony Ericsson P910i.
Do you know something similar ?

I dont know if he meant this. But I meant a keymapper for the physicle keys, like the vol up and down key.

You can use CyGesture or AnyOperator for this.

+1 to the VoSwitch suggestion.
I use this, it does Flight Mode, WiFi, Blue tooth and Mute.

By the way I now could find out that this firmware includes face tracking in the camera app...

Yes I meant a keymapper for the physicle keys, like the vol up and down key. (example: switch bluetooth on/off while M8 is in case)
I use "Any Operator" . Not bad but this application was better if it mapped physical keys too.

I have a very high battery drain.

I already tried it and then I came back to the original 0.9.9.17. This FW causes a much higher battery drain. Not worth.

try n450
i love n450.
It is still 0.9.9.18 but can be made into a multiboot firmware.
i get 3 days standby easy on my m8.
