Thanked 2 Times in 2 PostsAfter a couple of month, I now got a M8 again. My last information is a bit old.
Does M8 with the new UI now synchronize with outlook, like with the old UI or does it still not working?

Only the Calender will be synched? But Ok, better then nothing

Thanked 7 Times in 3 PostsI hope so, although i dont know why. I am very satisfied with the current state of my m8, an i am not even running the latest. The battery lets me reacharge ever other or third day, and that is with an average of perhaps 40 texts per day and some talking. This compared to my nokia n900 which lasts a day and a half at MOST.
I know many people would prbably disagree, but id say the m8 is now mature, with a mature and functional os. Some things are missing, sure but such is life with smartphones.
I guess the next logical frontier is android. I wants m9!

I noticed that with the russian 9.9.18 the battery lasts much less, did anyone experience the same?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsExperiences with battery drain are fairly subjectively biased. It depends on your settings and phone usage. Up to now there were different reports on battery durability with every new fw.
My S**y E. dumb phone needs a charge once a week, my M8 smart phone every 3 or 4 hours when in use as wifi couch pc.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsnew firmware/duel boot
I'm from the USA, thinking about getting the M8 but have 1 questions. When i do the firmware upgrade, does the .17 give me the duel boot option?? And if so can i download apps from the android site and use those apps on the M8 no problem?
Thanks,

Thanked 3 Times in 3 Postsyou can build an dualboot firmware by your own, the exact description can be found here on the forums. with the dualboot firmware it is possible to boot into the regular meizu os like you found .17 and into android. the meizu os is almost stable now and runs fine. the android firmware for meizu was build by skilled private users and is still under construction. because the m8 wasnt build for android os in first line not every android function is available at the moment also not all the apps are running.

Just a question...is 0.9.9.17 the last FW yet? I ask that cause in Honda Racer's signature I saw the 0.9.9.23...
Is it a new official firmware?
