Anybody can explain a little bit ? ? It's a firmware (if yes : It's in english or just in chinese)? A program ? A Discution ? Thanks for your help. (Sorry for my english)

1. Dualboot firmware.
2. Android 2.1 image.
3. Usb ethernet (??)

Android image is in chinese, but I cannot use it because the touch doesn't work (I think I have a pet screen).

what m8 have you? SE 16gb??

you can change the language if your touch is working ;-)

but it is not useable. some things are working, most not.

I have an RE 8GB...

Damn! Damn! I tried this and now my disk is gone. When I insert it to USB windows wants to format the disk (because it reads it RAW)

Anyone have a solution. My whole life is in that disk

pm loonix, he had this issue aswell and was going to document it i think.

I can only put my signature under that.

I used PC Inspector File Recovery to recover most of my files to my HDD.
then i formated the disk and copied it all the files back
Sadly it seems still some files got corupt.

Busy to practice hand- made , based onOfficialAndroid 2.1 ROM, the main change of the kernel, is still ongoing. . .
Kernel version : 2.6.29, Android version: 2.1

WM8753 audio driver ( old version M8/M8 RE available)
S3C RTC driver ( clock display properly, all the M8 can be used )

In progress (not completed) :
WM9331 audio driver (for M8 SE / new M8 RE)
PETTouch ScreenDrive (MeizuShashi Hou PET drive up to the I ... )
s3cfb rotation ( forScreenVertical over, use the G2D, minimal impact on performance)

BUG:
PlusSpeedSensor does not work , the reason unknown






FOUND ON MEIZUMI

Guys I managed to restore all my files with testdisk for windows. It restored everything in correct folder structure to.

So if someone screws the Meizu M8 disk then do this:

1. Download testdisk TestDisk Download - CGSecurity

2. Start testdisk and choose the Meizu disk

3. choose to find on NON partitions

4. when search is finished choose continue

5. Hide deleted files and press c to copy all other files

How can I tell I have PET screen or not?
What is the difference anyway?

Has anyone tried android on the m8? any reviews? i have a feeling this isn't even worth trying for another year or so until you can make a phone call with it, but i am still interested.

3rd download is a USB network driver. The instructions seem to suggest that other drivers/accessories can be installed through the virtual network card via USB.

It's not finished... So it's not up for regular usage..
Stick with the latest FW if you want a working phone
