Which firmware supports (1) Outlook sync (2) WiFi with WPA2

Hi guys !

After I purchased M8 SE I have tried the latest firmware (0.9.9.8), but to my surprise contacts syncing with Outlook never worked (although it claimed that conacts synced, they did not appear on the phone). Then with Google I found that latest firmwares are broken in terms of Outlook syncing. So, my question is: which is the latest firmware which has not broken Outlook contacts syncing ?

Another question is: I was unable to connect to WiFi WPA2 network with the latest firmware (0.9.9.8). The network is using DHCP, but Meizu never got an IP. So, I suspect, maybe WiFi is also broken ? Could anybody tell which firmware supports WiFi WPA2 for sure ?

WPA2-PSK TKIP+AES works fine for me on 0.9.8.22

Outlook contats synk is broken since ~0.9.3.6 (old UI firmware)

May I ask you - how you manage your contacts ? Do you use some other software to sync with desktop computer ? Do you add new contacts via Meizu ? Meizu keyboard is so inconmvenient for me - I can't type correctly almost anything - get letters messed, delete and try again... So, my idea was to create and keep all contacts on PC and then synchronize with Meizu.

Sorry, i gave the wrong firmware in the first post.
currently i am at 0.9.8.22 (had bluetooth trouble with the other one)

jepp, managing contacts is quite messy
i synced my contacts once on 0.9.3.6 with outlook.
then i made a backup and restored that backup on a firmware with the new UI.
ever since i am only restoring backups when i update the firmware...

Also i use PIM Sync (a chinese tool to sync contacts with a Meizu server but edeting the contacts online at member.meizu.com in a chinese UI is a mess.

The Keyboard is not half bad once you get used to it.

I have installed 0.9.3.18 firmware (as far as I understand - old UI, not sure what it means 8-) -- and it works perfect with Outlook 2003. Syncronizing my contacts (even with non-latin characters).

Regarding WiFi - it looks like I have some "incompatible" WiFi access point (DLink DIR-300) or connection mode WPA2. What I have done: I opened web panel of router on the page which shows list of currently connected WiFi devices - and I am able to see that Meizu M8 is listed among those devises just for 1...2 seconds, and after that it disconnects for some reason (not sure which part fails - either DIR-300 or Meizu M8). So, I'm still unable to browse via WiFi

Another interesting thing which I noticed - if I connect Meizu via USB cable to desktop computer which is connected to internet - Meizu uses USB to connect to internet . It's pretty funny to me...

Intersting, i need to check if my M8 connects to the internet via usb too o.O

the 'disconnect after some seconds' points in the direction of a wrong password.
Try to make your M8 forget the router configuration and connect again.
maybe try with a simpler password.

Didn't know internet would work via usb, seems that activesync does provide internet.
