Gonna try it. Hope they fixed the MMS problem. Because everything after 0.9.7.9 breaks the Receiving of MMS (if there is a subject in the MMS)

If this firmware fails then I must

    1. Go back to old UI 0.9.3.9 and clear registries

    2. Upgrade to New UI 0.9.7.9

    This firmware works good
i did not realize that the PIM Sync is now part of the UI, that is realy good.
Syncing my contacts with the Meizu server worked well via WLAN.

    //EDIT:
If you want the DAO89 version n424 which is based on 0.9.9.8 you can get it HERE

Weird. I had to clear registries to get my filemanager icon back haha.
Anyways its running smoothly. Best firmware until now.

Gonna upgrade my swedish language pack .cab file to support 0.9.9.8 100 %

    hmm, a guide...
I dont think there is a guide by now.
you have to have signed up to the Meizu.com BBS
and registered your M8 (you can try THIS GUIDE to do that)
then you use the PIM sync app and og in with the same username and password as you use for the mStore and the Meizu BBS.
you can edit and view your saved contats at https://member.meizu.com

    no.
there have been many firmwares with double digits.
just look at the last official 0.9.8.22
why shouldnt meizu use for example 0.10.1.1 next?
(but i think 0.9.9.12 or something like that is more likely)
