hehe.Meizu's engineers are busy doing M9, M8 1.0 Firmware is also nothing to look forward, not much has changed. Now some people do Android2.2 for m8 .Loonix are used. .

well 9.9.17 is a good enough FW ... just rename it or call it 1.0 if it works for you !
i have nothing to complain about 9.9.17 ! im just waiting for android 2.2 to be fully integrated into the m8 making it an android phone and not a windows ce one !

In my eyes this is firware 2.9.9.8
(so the old UI gets 1.x.x.x and the new UI 2.x.x.x)
no use to wait for something that is called 1.0.0.0,
as shupande said android makes giant steps to be usable.
