latest firmware wokring with activesync?

Hi, at the time i've just got my M8 syncing Contacts and Calender worked fine. At thies time the M8 was running an old-UI firmware. Then i upgraded the Firmware to newer Versionen and noticed that Contacts that have been synced with activesync are not shown in Contacts and that Appointments that have been just synced are not shown in the calender. What is the latest Firmware Version that supports syncing via activesync in that way that i can see and use the synced contacts and Appointsments on the Phone? (The activesync functionality is essential for me...)

Me too, does not work. Does anybody know a workaround? Actually, the contacts do not have to be sync every day. Is there circumvent (maybe via google contacts or similar possible?

With PimSync you can backup your contacts to the Meizu server.
With (i think) firmware 0.9.3.6 you where able to sync with ActiveSync.
There are some beta programs that allow you to work with the backup files (.xml files) i found one called M8Sync but it is again completely in chinese

I've tried to understand how M8PimSync works but couldn't get a clue because of language problems. There is no need to change the software, it would be enough to find translations of this small bunch of messages and menues the program writes on the screen. Is there a way to get a translation of the chinese tokens? ... or could someone write the chinese texts to the forum that we can cut and paste it into google-translate?

But I´m not intereseted to give all my contacts and private information to chinese server...Is it Secure?

the 'is it secure' question has been talked about in the chinese forum a lot.
According to the programmer the connection is secured by SSL and the password that you can save on the M8 is also not saved in plain text but in some kind of md5 encoding... (i thought md5 was for checksumms)

The question if your contacts are secure on http://member.meizu.com/ is another topic but who in china would be interested in my adressbook?

Thanks to mouri2002 and forty7eleven there is a pretty neat workaroud described in the German Meizume forum.
For all non German, here's the instruction:

Export your contacts from outlook into vcf files (one for each contact). There is a software (systools vcard export) available, which may assist you in the export.
Then copy the vcf files on you meizu (I used the download folder).

Using the document explorer, you go to this folder, click each vcf file, on the bottom at the right there is a save button, which import the vcf into the contacts list.

Worked fine for me.

I've tried calender and contacts syncing because the activesync features are very important to me. Here are the results:

1. Contacts syncing works, i have not found any problem with that. But none of the contacts is shown in the contact-list of the phoneapp. I've used m8dialer to use the synced contacts which works ok with all synced contacts.

2. Calender syncing works but:
a) If you are in another timezone than china/bejing the appointments' starting and finishing times are wrong, they haw an offset of a few hours. E.g. an appointment that should start at 13:00 is set to start at 19:00. This problem makes the calendar unusable. The problem seems to be an effect of the following problem
b) When syncing with activesync the clock of the m8 is set wrong if you are not in timezone China/Bejing. The clock is set to a few hours later or earlier.
c) Series of appointments are interpreted wrong by the calendarapp. Calendarapp seems not to take care of finishing date of a series.
d) if there are to many appointments in the calendar, the system slows down that you can not work anymore.
