Russian FW??

A lot of guys here talk about the russian fw is better and more stable with some addons....

Anyone tried that and where can one download the Russki fW's.
Also any tips and tricks on the using fW's

inside the thread name you will find 'Custom' and 'dao89' so you know which thread to open
Weather it is better or more stable i can not say, i use it and have some differences to the original firmware (kyrilic letters in some apps, and some tools installed that i do not know ^^ and no MMS as it seems which worked in the similar original leak but mybe i am doing something wrong)

The goal of my custom firmwares (I have done more then 60 already) - is convenience, modularity. It is very comfortably, when after flashing firmware you already have keyboard, .Net, widgets, gesture control and other useful stuff like predefined GPRS&MMS settings (only for Russian mobile operators) or English names of standard M8 ringtones
You will not see any сyrillic after flashing if you will not install addons with Russian programs.

I know, it is probably a stupud question but would it be possible to provide 'alternative descriptions' in the installer?
So that we kyrilic illeterates know better why our M8 does what after installing your CFW =)
Or how alternateviely can we edit the .cr files inside the .d89 packages
(i think the d89.ini.cr contains a program description for the installer but i cant open it)

Is possible to configure fingerkb in azerty Mode ? if note can we expect that. thx.

hardtheory in FingerKB nearly everything is about the configuration.
It is quite skinable and you can make your own layout.
It is not that hard but takes a lot of time...

EDIT : with fingerkb , in mail app, when you want to type the subject, you can type one letter and it automatically switch in message corner, anybody notice this ?

DAO89 : Can you explain us how to configure fingerkeyboard to be azerty, is there other skin for it ? thx in advance

I try to download a skin and try to modify but can't have any success to have azerty working, if anyone could help. THX

Those links are quite prominent on top of each forum section
(firmware, software, themes), also there is a globe with a download arrow in the upper right corner and you can find stuff in the download section using the search function of the forum...

But it is nearly always OK to ask.
That at least is what a forum is for.

@Nexatsy I have had this one since you put it out. It is a very good firmware. I don't see how a lot of people missed it.

I always check the download section before I enter the forum.

Lots of Shots fired... but none hit the target.....
We need to take this to the firing range...

Which Russian fW???
In the download section there are 3 now....
So which one has been installed the most and is deemed to be the best ...???

Addon for international users For_International_users_.d89. It replaces some Russian-specific registry values (such as default encoding) to English ones.
Also there is an addon mzfc_fix_.d89 that allows you to run Sprite, FTPCE and some other "old" programs on last firmaware.
