Wow, I wonder what has changed with that one? I will wait on this one for now. Just to see what's changed I found what was causing my biggest problem so I can wait.

1. Boot time has not changed much, start about 1 minute.

2. To increase the desktop refresh function. Zhuangwan software, press M key to return to the desktop is no longer as before, without any prompts, and the short period of time, as did suspended animation, but as a whole become darker in color and a short time a small circle in the center of the screen prompts is busy.

3. Desktop sliding clear fluid, and individuals feel comfortable, is by far the best one, there was no look at the issue across two pages. (Some people say that was not obvious, I'm the illusions ... ...)

4. Commonly used software testing: My flying the letter can not be used, small flashlight, Good Books, UC can use the browser.

5. Image preview at an alarming rate.

These translation are sounding stranger and stranger. From the parts I make out as Nice2know_u mentions nothing to run an jump at.

This is the changelog of 0.9.6.61 copied fom the other thread:

- waiting animation after installing an application and returning to desktop
- faster desktop sliding
- call volume fixed
- album art display fixed where some images would appear as random colorful lines
- phone numbers starting with 00 and not + are now recognized correctly in calls and SMS
- when answering a phone call with M button it responds quicker
- some new and fixed translations
- desktop sliding bux fixed (sometimes it skipped 2 pages)
- SMS delivery report still works
- if you want to open a previously locked conversation (SMS) it asks for the password instead of opening a blank page

Apart from these I see new translations in Email app which were previously chinese.

Still the carrier signal drops from time to time..
MiniOneShell crashed on Restart..
I Hope they bring back the Camera Settings i like those so you could choose the size of your photo when you shoot and the other things.

*Actualy i can't get any signal now that i entered the "Carrier" option 1st time now it just won't find my Carrier and when it finds it i just get "Operation Failed" i have the biggest Operator in Finland so i don't think it's about that meaby it's the phone.. This Blows need to go back to Nokia Again..

I have install the current link 0.9.7.1 and I have been playing around with sms and mms. I still see that even if you have names in your contacts once you send a text with the name of that person the phone responds to the receiving number coming in by adding the plus and only showing the number.

I can not send a text if the 1 for my country code is not in the number. For example if I have:

A contact Berry and his number is 410-844-5555.
Our phones don't allow dashes but this how we do it in the states. And, if I send a contact from my palm the phone allows dashes.

Anyway, if I send a text to berry at 4108445555 he will not get it. If I add the 1, it works. So if I change it to 14108445555 then the text goes. But when berry responds I see:

+14108445555 and not the name of berry which I selected from my contacts. So under messages I now have berry's name and his number which is from where he responded to me. This means the phone is using the dialing options of the control panel but if you change those options it sends the whole phone out of whack.

I have been successful at sending MMS but it takes 5 mins for the person on the over end to receive. Plus all times are in 24 hr mode even if you change things in both the control panel and settings. When dealing with anything text related.

The widget clock has never shown 12 hr mode. This is just a observation I have noticed in mostly all firmwares and just wanted someone who has a voice with meizu to add it to their tweak list if they feel it's important.

Again, just an Observation.

Good report @timsomor. In addition I have noticed the following:

1. Menu bar flickering in web browser on page load.
2. Sending/receiving several SMS messages with one recipient...tried to start new thread with another recipient and it would not send. Go back to the original thread and the text from the unsent SMS appears in the text box for reply to original thread. Very strange.

Could anybody please upload the music player (MzMusic.exe file)!? I'm going to fly away tomorrow early and my M8 is full with music - but now suddenly the music player isn't starting anymore

It's easier to make an backup with M8Sprite and install my custom firmware.

All in all, this is a very good firmware it handles memory and system resources well. I talked with a few people tonite and they liked how clear I sounded.

Music player is solid too.

Sorry, but I have not ao much time. 2 Days ago I flashed my M8, now yesterday I flashed it againto new FW... I don't want to flash it again now. Could please someone upload the MzMusic. exe file?

Just solved the problem. I had to open MzMusicPanel and press "next". Then it worked again.

@timsomor - are you still doing all the manual config changes to the registry? how about dialer in control panel? I see exactly the same behavior in sms but have only changed my sms nickname.
