Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsFunny. This firmware stutter is like buying a - let's say indian - car. It gets a new motor every week. After 3 months they managed to drive backwards, since yesterday the flasher works and hopefully next week they'll mount a steering wheel

Never mind - just kidding

official means official.
leak means leak.
there is no such thing as an official leak. period.BatMan, the free video converter for Meizu players. Problems ? English First Aid here. Deutsche Erste Hilfe hier.

Thanked 173 Times in 72 Postsif meizu releases a leak, it is called a leak.
when a fan releases a 'leak', it is either called a custom or a fake leak.
ontopic: Does anybody with a M8 FE has a camera with settings like brightness on the 0.9.6.38 firmware?Last edited by LVL; 03-11-2010 at 09:51 PM.

Thanked 3 Times in 2 PostsNop, in the .38 there arent any functions in camera, only those from before (shot, gallery and movie recording)
It would be great if they implemented a settings feature on the camera app.

Thanked 83 Times in 30 Posts@Dxgod,
i got a SE, but i don't have those camera settings either. I think it depends on the actual camera hardware. even for SE, the camera hardwares are different(probably the new ones support those settings, not sure).
PS, when i push the volume buttons, only the digital zoom in/out bar appears, nothing more.Last edited by yunfan; 03-11-2010 at 11:23 PM.

Thanked 4 Times in 4 PostsIt is unreasonable for a company to sell different kind of phones with different hardware, but under the same name for the same price. Meizu owe an upgrade to people who have a SE but an inferior camera and settings. Hardly helps you build much trust in the company

Thanked 4 Times in 4 PostsThere is no excuse.Meizu should save these upgrades for a new model, not introduce them halfway through production, otherwise the people who bought the first ones are being ripped off. I though Meizu was above this type of thing but apparently not. Its the same as this rubbish about not accepting responsibility for M8s outside of China.

meizu bbs leak fw vs custom fan-generated fw is what I meant...i "get" it. but let's be truthful here...the last official meizu fw IS an iterative rev of the never-ending stream of bbs leaks intended for testing. but your point is taken.
back on topic: @jaysharp - any luck with mms testing? I know @crimson reported bbs messages about gprs being bigger issue but just curious if you had any success (even if intermittent).Last edited by cmdv; 03-12-2010 at 01:00 AM.

Thanked 138 Times in 53 PostsWhere is ur problem with that?? Every product gets developed over time. Its just a normal process in every company. If there would be a bug in hardware which is discovred later, they should wait with a fix maybe two years till the next model? thats stupid. There where a problem with the touchscreen and they brought a new m8 with new TS hardware. And if there where a problems with the cam they would have fixed this too. The idea of waiting for the next model till such enhancements are made is just silly. I theyd build this into the m9 you'd need to buy one if you'd want this. And if you wwant it now, buy a new m8.There is no excuse.Meizu should save these upgrades for a new model, not introduce them halfway through production, otherwise the people who bought the first ones are being ripped off. I though Meizu was above this type of thing but apparently not. Its the same as this rubbish about not accepting responsibility for M8s outside of China.

Thanked 4 Times in 4 PostsOf course it nos silly, improving the camera module was not an essential upgrade so it yes it shoul have been saved for a different model or all previous buyers of that model should have een offered a free upgrade
