[Leak] FW 0.9.6.35 and 0.9.6.38 - 10.03.2010

Damn I don't like this... I was so glad they didn't leak anything lately, and now 3-4 leaks in one day :/

really crazy but they can make there work and in the evening before they go home meizu upload a leak ...

i don´t believe that all leaks are from meizu...i think there are some fanmade ones as well!
it´s past midnight in china now...so i think there won´t be another leak today! i´m just guessing but the next one will come on friday and maybe it´ll be an official one!

As i said before guys,there should be an official fw release by the end of the weekend..

0.9.6.40 is also already released...

damn, so how are they gathering data to see what's fixed or not fixed in each firmware?

That is unreal to have three released so fast. Are the improvements noticeable?

I think I will wait until Friday to see what's popping. Maybe they have added more people to get things moving.

yes i will wait too until friday ! maybe we have the luck that there will be a offical one !
I thin that only the 0.9.6.38 is a Meizu UI not fanmade !
the other leaks are maybe only fanmade UI´s because on much internet pages i cant see other leaks only the .38 .... !

Really, to be honest, I kind of like the fan made one 0.9.6.29 It's pretty good to me. I don't have time to try any of the others until the weekend anyway. I think if Meizu can keep this speed and stability that I have been seeing we may be ok once the final decision is made. As long as they are keeping their attention on the M8 and not so much the M9. In the case of the M9 it seems to be a phone built around a firmware, but with most of us involving the M8, it's a firmware built around a phone.

As it should be. finish what you start. In the case of three test firmwares, we are on track.

@Timsomor - We now can see T-Mobile as the carrier and they seemed to have fixed the Carrier Settings bug that us T-Mobile USA users were experiencing. So far everything has work for me like a charm with the latest firmware. I will actually try MMS when I get home tonight. I am also going to do some research on the phone number configuration for us in the US. I have a gut feeling that it has everything to do with the Dial Settings in the WinCE control Panel. I will try to play around this week to see if my assumption is correct.

For those who have problems with GPRS and MMS:

Meizu said there seems to be a bigger problem with gprs that is not fixed yet.

Thanx for the good word crimson05, I knew all along it had to be firmware related. I figured because you could make some parts of it work by means of small changes to the reg and network bypasses.

So that means they have been looking at our post, cool. That means to anyone posting a fix or part of one you should try to be as detailed as possible so the engineers can piggyback off your findings.

Together we will put 2 and 2 together, hopefully in the end we will have 4.

no they don't really read meizume but they sent me some test and log tools ;-)

do you think a log from someone with gprs problem could help them?

at the moment i am reading the following and hope to get it working myself:

i wonder that they do not use the rasbook in the registry to save the userdata like it is usual in win ce.
if you set a new connection with the meizu ui you can not see it in the control.exe.

if i make a rasbook entry via an application i can see it in contol.exe but i do something wrong with devcfg at the moment.

they already have got a gprs log from me and noticed there was an serious problem. See what they wrote back to crimson, its located in this topic somewhere.... that was a reply after I made a gprs log and send it to crimson, who gave it to a developper of meizu

patrickmeizume do you have any special character in the username like an "@" in my case.

i am nearly shure that this is the problem because my provider sent me a networktrace and i can see that i send a blank username.

it is only a small way between useless and best phone.

as everyone agrees, the good news is that they know there is an issue and they are working it. looking forward to testing official leak at end of week...we're getting there...
