Damn this firmware is on steroïds... very damn fast

can anybody explain what "russian locale" means exactly ? What needs to be done to turn it back to english after I install this ?
EDIT : meanwhile I dared to install it nevertheless. Everything works fin like it worked before and is in English. Didn't check each and every thing yet, but I did not encounter any cyrillic yet.

it is in english by default ... rather than chinese !

Is it always possible to switch in French ?

someone put the french translation a few days back, & mt brother put it in french

I just thinking went to the regional setting and change to french.

But it works, i'm just install the firmware and change in french.

First impression : Fast, very fast.

Can somebody tests if there a working german keyboard?

You will not find any cyrillic in this custom, but it has a lot of available locales (more then in "original" chines firmware), russian - is set to default. Some time ago, before offical release of fw with new ui, we added russian layout to plumsip keyboard, but it is not possible without russian locale (becouse symbols in plumsip config file are written with 1-byte ansi encoding). Now, plumsip (as I know) cannot be modified to input any other symbols except english, so we use FingerKB (or TouchPal) with modified exe file of standard Opera, so we can input russian (and english) letters on webpages.

Maybe this is why you russian guys are so gifted programmers : you have to modify each and everything by yourself to make it running with your funny language

Wifi works fine. How about resetting the registry?O:

What does that do? Only changes in language or what?

What about the clock widget, does it only still display in 24 hr mode only and Uses Beijing as the main time only?

I am in the US and when I receive sms the numbers come in as + Country Code + area code + number but when I receive calls the numbers are displayed as country code + area code + number. What is the best way to store phone numbers for contacts so that the phone recognizes the numbers for both sms and phone?

This would be helpful not sure about that one either. I hope this is the next big fix.
