Ok guyz, i see that people talk about low volume on M8.
So i wanna ask all of you if you know how to modify the volume level on the firmware?
I mean it will be great if we can modify and set the level sound in the maximum .
Then people decide themself to reduce or let the maximum volume .
Also it will be great to have 2 part of sound level.
The one with mp3 player and the one when the phone is ringing.
As for me i really would like to have more higher sound on mp3 player and when the phone ringing.
This only for the speaker level sound.
In headphone sound level is Ok for me
Maybe we have to post this topic in bbs for J Wong read this!!!
And hope that he will do this for us!Last edited by bbee; 03-01-2010 at 12:07 AM.

Thanked 31 Times in 18 PostsSound a basic function, something that you think would be automatic from a company that started with MP3 players. I know this thing can go really loud without busting a speaker, I have heard it. I wish I had the skills to really mod and make this phone my own.
Like I said before we lose a little more of the basics of cell phone with every other upgrade.
I do like the idea of volume for ringer and Mp3 function.Last edited by Timsomor; 03-01-2010 at 12:37 AM.

Thanked 2 Times in 2 Postsperhaps not really what you are asking for but have you checked the sound setting using m8sprite? i have noticed that my overall volume (speakers and headphones) was set to 0% (i could still hear something, so not really 0).
however, just install m8 sprite if you dont already have and check, if you volume is set to the max! another problem i noticed is that whenever you restart the volume setting in m8sprite might get set back to 0%. very annoying. i always check the volume in m8sprite after a reboot to make sure, that it is ok.
i hope this was helpful

Thanked 31 Times in 18 PostsI have a couple of hours to myself today and that's what I am doing right now! Widgets....for me it's not just sound the contacts part of this Firmware is acting really shytty. If you have to remember who you call you don't have a phone.
Anyway, I have put the speakers to the test several times they can handle it...for me it was the people around me that could not.Last edited by Timsomor; 03-01-2010 at 11:05 PM.
