hmm thats strange... cause i installed it and after that it was much louder than before...

change log (as i tested it):
1) speakers volume IS louder
2) reception ,calling,sms,mms all working properly
3) flicking is smoother/faster
4) picture viewer speed is still as good as the previous version
5) battery lasts for more than 2 days without using wifi and brightness at 50% with minimal music playback
6) alarm works
7) music player starts faster
8) calendar and notes works properly and perfectly
9) wifi works

stuff to note :
i hate the new recording setting in the old ui you could choose the quality of the recording and it was good quality now its set at the lowest it seems and i don't like it !!! so please meizu let us have the settings back (the recording settings and the camera settings)

there is a bug in the music player where after deleting a track from an artist it throws you to albums tab and if you have more than 1 album of one artist when you go back it goes to artists instead of albums of the selected artist

I started with fixing the bad English translations and as soon as possible I will release it

You would think that this, a forum, would be one of the best test environments for profecting a stable product. You have real life testing on multiple mobile networks around the world. Even if translation is the problem just look at the adaptations from your users on the different forums and just copy it or and improve on it. Even if your product is not an international one, once received by any user and they make it usable in their neck of the woods you have an instant market.

It seems as if Meizu starts fresh with every firmware not looking back at there notes. Meaning the data collected from us.

@cmdv I try not to test these releases that much because I really need my phone on a daily. That's why I try to stick with the officials and go from there. I have not been able to go back to 0.9.3.18 because I have been on the go all week. That way I can do my testing on the go using things you really need like contacts, calendar appointments, recording notes on the go, etc...
So I have not been able to go back to the firmware that I enjoyed the most and had fun with 0.9.3.18. Anyway, cmdv just test the basic things that should work. I have noticed in the new firmware does not show when someone has left a message for you, so I have missed a few important messages, I hope meizu fixes this basic function. The email client setup good with my gmail account I just wish it was more in english so you would not have to do a lot of guessing.
Thanks in advance to HondaRacer for translations I just wish they would take his work and add it to the finished products/firmware/test.

I have first addition Meizu but it was rework before I got it so I call it
SO for solid operation.

I think I don't quite follow but if you don't like that I'm fixing it just don't download it.

No, you read my comment wrong I love that you are fixing it. I wish they would take your fixing and just add them to the release. I hope you understand what I am saying, I am complementing you.

why dont you go ahead and try that if you have m8 sprite installed. the volume settings in m8 sprite are for the overall loudness of the phone. the volume settings in the music player concern only the maximum level of the volume.

seriously! there IS a difference! switching the volume in the sound settings in m8 sprite to 100% will improve the overall loudness of phone! and then you will realize, that the meizu is by far loud enough.

EVERYBODY WHO THINKS HIS MEIZU M8 IS NOT LOUD ENOUGH, PLEASE CHECK THE VOLUME IN "SOUND SETTINGS" IN M8SPRITE!!!

When i said go to the mp3 player settings to increase the volume to 100% i meant the mp3 player volume.
I went into m8sprite and the volume level was already at 100%.
When you install m8sprite the level is at 100% by default,so unless you manually decrease it later,it will always be at 100%
So therefore i cant increase it any further.
Like i said before the mp3 volume on my M8 is the same as all other firmwares ..its no louder.

In firmware 0.9.3.18 The sound was extra loud. At 55% I got a complaint at one of my clients offices and I was walking down the hall! At 65% I could sit it in my bedroom and hear it from the hallway in my apartment. The recording function picked up sounds good I mean really good, That was the best one.

Two other people mentioned this firmware as having the best sound, I can not recall who they were, but I agree. Anyway, this is a testing question just flash your phone with the 0.9.3.18 firmware and see for yourselves.

I think we should to tell to Meizu to put the most louder volume sound in the firmware and let the user set himself the volume.

well, nevermind in this case . the volume was 0% by default on my m8 FE 16gb. so for me, it did make sense to use m8 sprite.

I agree also, but we tend to lose a improvement every other firmware.

i think i said this before, but i cant remember...
could you flash m8 to 9.3.18, copy the recorder, camera, w/e files to a computer, flash the phone to the firmware you want, and replace the files with the one from 9.3.18? probably not, but perhaps? i dont have my m8 rite now, so i cant try it,
