no, i meant the socalled "M8 PC Suite" from bbs! I posted a thread a few weeks ago about that programm. It seems to be quite perfect...but chinese...

I think that they "solved" the issue of mp3 volume, now the default volume is louder and you don't need to go over the 80% limit..

Nope..for me there is no change to the volume limit,its still not loud enough

Flick-scrolling is also smoother and the SIM contacts load faster

In this new FW the Calendar is translated into English? And the Weather app you can add other cities that are not only Chinese?

Calender is in English but only Chinese cities for weather app

aha i think it s positive taht meizu guys started working again after drinking the whole day

calendar widget is not translated but you can use the translations from my first post!

i really like this fw because nothing changed.
Those who now say they are disapointed that there are no new thing init, said last week that meizu should stop bringing eye candy and start some serious bug fixing

see im software developer too, and i know how it workx the important changes cant be seen in the gui. So i think (ife seen the serial logs from the m8) in last few leaks there where big changes in the basic system of the m8. and now they seem to fix those last bugs.

i firmware with nothing new, but near bug free is a good step.
for me, i didnt found a bug in this fw. meizu is on a good way

I knew we would get more test ware, but @r3wDY are you saying this is a smooth testware?

Thanks but that program does not increase the default max volume,all it does is give you another way of increasing/decreasing the default volume on the m8..i installed it weeks ago on the hope that would increase the default max volume,but it was not to be,so i then uninstalled it.

I wonder why they did not leave the volume as it was in 0.9.3.18. In my opinion this was the best one out of the bunch. It had good sound, picture quality, response time, and call quality. And none of my calls ever jumped using the speaker. Meizu please keep the good things as you apply the eye candy.

dont hit me if somebody else said that already, but i noticed, that the sound volume is by default not set to the max level. you have to install m8sprite and go to the sound settings in order to shift the volume to the max. unfortunately i also realized that the sound volume will be set back after restart (at least sometimes), so the best thing to do after each restart is to check in m8 sprite. i hope that is the solution! if not, nevermind

You can go into the MP3Player settings and increase the volume to 100%,no need to use m8sprite

ok..same here

"bug-free" is a hard word. I would be already satisfied if my device would stop freezing or demanding a reboot to work properly again. I've had many issues with the latest fw during the past weeks, but I must also admit that a lot has improved.
Now it's time to stabilize the whole thing and make it worth to be called a smartphone.
A lot of people are still having problems with SMS, Email and Outlook Sync. That NEEDS to be fixed before they can call the FW "1.0".
As R3wDy said, they are on a good way. I second that.
I only wonder if they lost some reputation on the chinese customer market, because it took them so long to develop a good working firmware for their otherwise outstanding device.

I would have loved to help them fixing things up, report bugs and testing things out, and I think that a lot of the fans here would have done the same. Too bad they did not make use of that working power.
