[Official] FW 0.9.6.12 - 09.02.2010

This new FW seems stable to me either...

i was just thinking of the missing language-mode-memory in the old ui as counter example.

a little off topic: wouldnt it be great, if the music player hat a fourth slide window with the actual playlist beeing played? and even cooler if it were editable (changing song order). and also i would love to have a feature, where a slide to the LEFT in the songs/albums/artists-section actually quick-adds songs/albums/etc to the current playlist. these functions would really boost the player...

btw..., i have noticed, that if you the choose to the option "open" in the playlist-section and select a whole folder, a playlist will be added of it!
this is really cool, since no slow and boring playlist editing is necessary.

Is v2 official ?,its not posted on the Meizu website..thanks

I guess I'm not the only one who cannot send or receive emails ? After upgrading from the latest official fw with the old gui I lost 3 of my 6 mail account settings. The remaining 3 don't work, neither with gprs nor wifi. I hope they can fix that soon.

Camera settings that's it? There are all kinds of bugs in this firmware. What about the sound.....however the pictures are looking bad. I took pictures of the snow here in Baltimore and they look not as good as they once did.

You are right I think I will be patient it has only been 8 hours since last fix. I will wait I will not install a lot of stuff. Just the basic until next firmware release.

I have upgraded to v2 and there are no newer settings,in fact there are no settings at all,at least in 9.6.9 i was able to choose what size pics other settings..now theres nothing.

you could try to delete your accounts, then add them back. that might work for you. (i haven't tried but i read it somewhere in meizu bbs)

PS, i did that for the 0.9.6.9, and it works

I gave the 09612 some more time till this morning and surprisingly all basic functions keep working, how ever it got some lag in it. But the battery drain stopped so beeing honest this one feels a bit better then the previous official fw.

Am i the only one that thinks this are just leaks and not official packages?
Don´t get me wrong, but to me it is just a leak called official since the must keep their promise they made with the advertisements? (what normal is, at my work it is the same thing : ads first then the hard work )

Can somebody reliably confirm that he can send and receive emails with this fw ?

Sending/receiving works fine here with 0.9.6.12 v2 and Gmail account.

I have a gogglemail account too, it doesn't work for me. Using the exact same settings as in Thunderbird (where it works). SSL ports 995 (pop3) and 465 (smtp).

I have been successful w/ gmx but my work account (also verified w/ t-bird) doesn't work over gprs or wlan.
