New SMS with adj. fonts for the old 0.9.3.18

I find the latest new UI firmware quite sluggish on my M8SE. I actually like the 0.9.3.18 firmware but would love to have the latest SMS with adjustable font sizes, etc. I tried to copy all the latest sms files to my phone with the old UI, I overwrote the existing files. I just succeeded in hanging the phone on startup. Had to re-flash and restore. Has anyone tried this or planning to try this? I'd love to get it going.

Yeah I did the same thing. I would love to get the new UI sms working in the old UI
