[Official] FW 0.9.6.9 - 06.02.2010 (w/ New UI)

JW just commented a new firmware is coming next week before they go on holiday. Don't ask why was it released today.

Please don't use M8Sprite to restore anything... updated first post!

this one is with the old keyboard. I find it smoother and faster than previous leaks... Just some missing translations in english, but I believe it is a very good FW. Thanks to all leaks testers who reported many things, I guess it also helped Meizu dev team to see more things to fix/correct/improve/change.

Yes i restored icon using M8Sprite,i like to have all my most used icons (music player,documents folder momo,etc)on the main page (the one that it defaults to when you press m button",so i have moved the icons i want there,but as soon as i reboot they just move somewhere else..

EDIT; just read "dont use m8sprite to restore",so what do i do now,reinstall the new fw ?,also how else can i restore desktop icons ??..thanks

Do a registry reset (holding M+power button while powering on the phone), then arrange your icons the way you like, and after that if you do a system backup (from Settings) it will save your desktop icons and their locations too, so there's no need for M8Sprite anymore.

Turn off the "Delivery Report"
And have you done a cleaning of the registry?

So sad i have to downgrade to the old UI !!

Before upgrade to new ui i have clean registry.

But once i reset the registry,all my apps icons will have gone,so how can i restore them ?,sorry for so many questions

Best way is to install the apps again.

And to move the icons to your selected area press the "doors" at the bottom

Looks like this is not worth installing. I have read a few things that sound kind of alarming even after all the testing that has been going on with the New UI firmware.

For me it is not a working firmware.
The most important function SMS not working on receive!

It works freaking great for me... no problem at all
