I must say i like it!

It´s the first leak with the new ui i have running for about 5 hours now an problably will keep untill the final gets released.
It runs without any real issue´s, everything seems to work just fine.
My only remarks are;

1. that some menu´s still contain chinese language..
2. the keyboard bug is still present (for example if you would login with msn the keyboard pops up but you can´t get rid of it.)
3. Activating wifi causes wierd behaviour..
4. If using subfolder @ photos it jumps sometimes to a complete different folder.
5. The keys in the keyboard are to small for my fat fingers
6. if a contact is been entered in format 0032xx sms center doesn´t show the name from the contact cause it expects the format +32xx..
7. The operator name is still wrong.
8. the fading effects in the menu show lagging.
9. the battery indicator is hard to read (white line instead of grey would be better)

local number show me a number that i do not know :s strange!

i dont know if it is new but if u r on desktop and u tap ur finger from top to buttom u get in the call menu sms menu or desktop.
hope everbody knows what i mean

doing this opens the previous opened menu.

You should try the new firmware released today. Seems it fixes most of these issues, more things are translated, wifi seems fine, fading effect is better I think, and the battery indicator is white again... but come to think of it, wait at least until tomorrow, I'm 99,9% sure there will be a new one

i noticed the other topic and i immediatly thought ..crap..
Mostlikely i will wait on the final 1.0 before i upgrade again can´t be long any more

somethings really wrong :S i cant receive any sms not long nor short help me out here guys ! please !

try the new fw leak of today ->M8 Firmware (New UI) - Jan 28. 0.9.5.335
for me it works very good with sms and calls

mm have you done any settings ? or have you restored anything after upgrading ?

the problem started in the 27 leak then i downgraded and still had it ! ...

i only tip in the sms center number write a sms to myself and called my konto-number receiving from other works too

i have a backup, but i only used it for the contacts

ok i think im going to do that as well although i like the old fw for its faster :S ... ow well ... i'll try and report

sms works for me with no problems at all

..I will buy a new Sim and test it too..next week!...looking forward to it
