M8 Firmware (New UI) - Jan 22.

You got to set Snooze to "some minutes" then it works
(do not set snooze to close !!!)

Edit: No, it was just luck...snooze, or not, it does not stop now for me.

for me long sms dont work. Badly this is a killer argurment for me so back to official

MMS works fine for me
FLVShow dosent work for me

i tested the wifi function -> much faster than in previous leaks! I´m very happy about this...but the browser is still a bit laggy.

hi, tried to send mms and it works, receiving don't know yet but in former UIs I could send but not receive them, at list with vodafone Portugal, i tried with another carrier (optimus) and no problems so far... the wap2-psk(aes) doesn't work. i synced with outlook but a friend could not so i don't know if i was "lucky" or if he is "unlucky". thanks every body for all your work.

Its the recieving part which is important i guess, since we could send mms but recieving was problem. I'll try it out and see if it works

am i the only one who has problems with moving apps on the desktop? =/ first new UI leak I tried so dunno ..^^

oh and other problems: with M8Sprite i cannot rename apps because the "ok" button stays hidden by the keyboard =/

i used vmouse to hide the keyboard

Tested MMS, it works on sending and recieving. finally :D


Btw, im in norway so those of you who are in norway this is a good fw to upgrade to.

Has anyone found a way to use TouchPal with the New UI leaks?

Can you now press the top bar again to display the options on the bottom menu bar?

I thought there was a version which doesn't cover the bottom menu bars, does anyone know where to find it? I really couldn't live without TouchPal anymore, it allows for much faster typing...

Any other options to do this? Using a gesture program to show & hide keyboard perhaps ?

same here ... the desktop laggs really sometimes, not often !

In this firmware it's possible to download and watch mpg videos online (maybe other formats too):

is far as i understand it you can run or download directly all associated files

There is an hide/pop keyboard app in the download section, I use it on every leak so far

Edit: forgot...I tried TouchPal some newUi leaks ago, worked perfectly!

..and WidgetCalendar is also not translated...

I personally bet, that they are not finished yet, even if it seems like.
I believe, you will use them as icons, you click and clock/alarm/timer app will start and the same for calendar...
