Here's a new leak FW - 0.9.5.260

Changelog:

- After restoring a backup the phone will be automatically restarted
- Weather application has a new design
- When you receive a SMS and unlock the screen you will be notified you have a new message and you can choose to read it or close the window
- Shutdown interface redesigned
- New volume adjust design
- Notepad now starts up faster, date is shown in english
- New preview when adding widgets
- Ebooks can't be edited in landscape mode
- Added a missing animation in Music Player

could someone please test outlook sync / translations?

i´m downloading now...will test it later!

LOG:
- still no contacts from outlook !!! (what the hell...is it that difficult??)
- still not everything translated
- still need to restart the phone to switch simcards
- not even the email ui is translated...
- camera is as fast as 9.3.18
- pic viewer is also fast (but buggy in landscape mode...zooming etc.)
- wlan surfing is (ultra) fast
- calendar translation works (see M8 Firmware (New UI) - Jan 8.)
- nice and nearly smooth animations on notes
- calling/sms is working fine for me with that number format +xx (xxxxx) xxxxxxx
- weather app seems to work with "munich" and "viena" but i´m not really sure...it´s still not translated!

BUGS:
- SMS issue with longer messages still not solved
- title bar dissapaers after use of M8Sprite - deactivate the "adjust title bar height" to solve it


i can´t see any differences except some new beautifull icons etc?!?!?! unnecessary stuff!!!

what do you want me to test? what do you want to know about that fw?

-new Widget Icons in the Widget menu
-after resotring your data backup, the phone restarts automaticly

- Notepaper faster now, english date again
- new shutdown layout
- new WeatherWidget layout
- new volume layout

do basic functions like sms work?
because i really want to install the new UI firmware, but last time i tried a leak, i didn't receive sms anymore and who needs a cellphone that looks nice but cannot do more than an mp3player

it works for me...see the thread above...

BUG:

- my title bar is gone?!? first the bar popped up in every menu...now its gone?!? someone else with the same problem? after restart everything is fine again...
is it M8Sprite...setting title bar height?! could someone please confirm?

could someone please check if i was lucky...or is the weather app working with "munich"? could you please check your cities?

tried "vienna" without any data but "viena" shows some results...

I'm downloading, and I'll test it.
But it will take a while, cause my internet-connection is not the fastest (DSL-Light, 50 kb/s) :-D

For me the same..if I input vienna or munich...it searches and after some seconds jumps back to desktop widget.

it does not work for me...

i cant seem to be able to get the translated minishell.exe to work. When my M8 is turned on and gets to the loading bar an application error comes up for the minioneshell and then the loading bar does not dissapear

...it jumps back to the homescreen...yes...but when you open it again, there is a city added and it shows the weather (in my case)...but i´m not sure about the city it shows then, because of the chinese...

-get a sms with dots and other things
-boot freezes 2 times
-dont enter a wrong pin =) phone freeze !

English MiniOneShell.exe and PhoneSettings.exe worx well thx to rori =)

I was wondering, this fw is about 120 mb extracted,
would it do any harm if i deleted all mui files (and translate the .exe´s) and french sms/mms config files?

This would give me some more free memory :-)

why? delete 3 of your mp3 files...would have a greater effect on your memory!!

but my file has only 112.147KB!!

Okay, for my it adds no city in the weather-app. it just returns to homescreen, and thats it.
