Meizu M8 FW Version 0.9.3.18 official

ooook upgraded to this fw and i can confirm that photo browser is soo fast and that pinch to zoom is even smoother and faster mmm and the cam is really much faster when shooting in darker places and produces better shots
moreover i have noticed that changing the music tracks has become faster
so i could sum it all up by saying that this fw is simply fast its the fastest yet

sure it is only problem with lbe

Is it possible to back up apps on my m8 before i upgrade the fw and then once upgraded,then simply restore them through back up instead of reinstalling every app one at a time (i have 4 pages of apps).I have searched but cant find an answer ...thanks

you can use m8sprite for that!
you should install M8Sprite - go to Desktop - Modify - Backup

After your firmware upgrade you can go to the "Disk-Programs-M8Sprite" Folder - start M8Sprite there - go to Desktop - Modify - Restore

Well that didnt work...i made a back up using M8Sprite,installed the new fw and then after opened up M8Sprite and followed your instructions but it kept on saying "failed to restore items" and the back up i made was nowhere to be seen..only the original M8 programs were there.

sorry for that but thats the only way i know (and i think the only possible way to backup the desktop).
don´t know what went wrong in your case! this works for me...so...again, sorry for that!

And can it be, that the German Keyboard dosn't work anymore?

I think this is a rob peter to pay paul firmwire. Things that worked half way well don't work anymore, things that did not work are working fine, and for some things that have never worked still don't.

As to the guy doing the backup you will just have to do your most important stuff first then everything else, one at a time. I don't know how long you have had your phone, but I hope you can see it only takes one app that is not compatible with a few changes in this OS to keep you poping out that battery. My reasoning for this is that when changes are made less time is put into backward compatibility so only use the most important apps. I found that even if you use one of the themes you get minor changes with the phone so I keep the original.

I just don't know....

the keyboard works great for me, no problems

Strange.... I even cant change between chinese and english keyboard. Theres just one qwerty-keyboard and a key to change to the number-keyboard.
Cleaned the registery.... Reinstalled the german keyboard... I'll now try reinstalling the fw.

Edit: Reinstalled the FW... It still doesnt work....
Downgrading to 9.3.9 now......

so could someone try to get german keyboard working?

i took the 19mb installer and it works perfect!

I tried with the same and it didnt work...

i made a registry reset, installed that new fw, installed the keyboard...did a restart...and it works...nothing more to say...sorry!

ok i switching FW from 9.3.8 to this one:

already done:

-reseted reg
-installed FW
-backup data restoring

will keep you informed if i notice some changes myself

1.Cam works much faster
2. Browser (wifi) works faster (not much)
3.pic viewer has a great speed ...also the pics in the folders are shown much faster
4.switching desktops is faster
5. german keyboard works fine with me

finaly i have to say....nice FW with some improvements...thanks meizu

is one of you able to surf the web using GPRS/EDGE ?
i´m able to download/write emails automatically...but not use the browser or e.g. M8maps?!
