Firmware Update - Save Contacts

Hello,

I'm using the firmware 0.9.0.4 and I'd like to upgrade to 0.9.3.9 official.
I know how to upgrade but I'm not sure about the backup procedure.

For the moment, I've backup everything using settings/system/Data Backup
In the post "How to upgrade firmware on Meizu M8", someone say : use "Contact Manager" and click the "Backup Contacts", but I don't have this contact manager option.

How can I save my contacts with the associated pictures.
After I upgrade, I just need to use the restore function ?
All the applications I already installed will be restored too, or I'll have to reinstall everything ?

in my opinion the best way to manage the contacts is outlook. install active sync and outlook and syncronize the contacts...

iam simply using meizu backup for this thing

M8Sprite maybe? (i use it just in case if anything goes wrong)

I've used M8 backup and also synched to Outlook. Both work equally well. I like having both methods just to prevent loss due to a worst case scenario!

ok so I by using the meizu backup, it should work. What about the pictures of the contacts, I'll have to redefine them ?

- Blacklist
- Calendar
- Calllist
- Clock
- Contacts (incl.pictures of the contacts)
- SMS
- SpeedDial
