New beta M8 FW - 12.04 (9.3.9 with new UI)

I found this new FW...lets try it out....

downloading now, let's see how it turns out

Changelog:

- Software Version: 0.9.3.9
- E and G icons are back next to signal strength
- new input method skin
- Recorder is able to edit audio (not possible to save it yet it seems))
- new visualizer in Recorder (same as in the music player)
- answering mode changed (slide up to answer)
- automatic call recording function in phone settings (not yet working)
- new effect in picture viewer when sliding left or right
- desktop manager can now delete icons
- improved time selectors (easier to adjust)
- redesigned E-book reader
- keyboard has a 3-function capslock button: only capitalize first letter, capslock on and capslock off
- task manager is showing the date in the taskbar when opened
- preview pictures (thumbnails) in Documents > Photo > any photo folder

Remember JW himself said this firmware has many problems, so before posting any negative thoughts please keep this in mind!

The problem is, that most of the people doesn´t start reading threads from the beginning...believe me...they will start complaining and moaning again...like always!!

I've found this image of new input method skin

Now I am confused...is this a new official FW (like 0.9.3.8), or just a new version of the upcoming FW 1.0 with the new UI?

so it is no official FW

installed it...
...except of the new photo-sliding-effect and some other small changes, not worth installing! no sim-manager, no landscape effects, no landscape sms, not everything is translated...just another leak!

log:
- sliding effect on photo viewer (looks a bit like turning a cube...)
- no multitouch zooming (or ultra-slow reaction on it)
- new keyboard remembers english
- only widget clock could be removed and added with new "background-editor"

but the new sliding effect is nice!! keep working hard on that JW !!

anyway, ill try, and maybe later upload some pics :

* Also back-ups from latest leaks now works, just used one, which was made three days ago with 11.28 and it works with this release.
*Also calculator in landscape mode works normally.
*Alarm works, battery 20% sign now with ok button.
*Video which lagged on previous leaks, now works without any lags.
*Icon add button now opens kind a menu
*Sound button works correctly

tested it as well, sometimes a bit laggy, battery seems to wear out very quick,
program "profile" does not work with this version
however, this version looks promising!
agree that not everything has been translated yet....
calendar has been changed, looks way better now, i hope it syncs properly > not tested yet.

you can remove all unofficial icons

- E-icon is now there again
- Wlan icon shows the signal strengh right mow
- double-click opens small music-player (like onj lock-screen)

I have added some things to my changelog post.
The new keyboard seems nice, finally we have a key (right to space) to input most commonly used punctuations and characters, and the new capslock key is more user-friendly then it was previously.
