Software to modify FW file XIP.bin ?

what software would i need to open / modify a XIP file ? i want to copy a few files from the windows folder and add them to another fw (xip.bin)!

is that possible?

...and i tried to copy the files via explorer allready...it wasn´t possible because the files are protected etc. !!

i tried to insert the STK Manager to the NEW UI

How about inserting te stk application and switch the old settings 'app' with the one from the new UI? Since the current settings 'app' doesnt enables the stk application.
Or is this just plain stupid?

this is what i tried? we built a cab-installer and installed the stk-app on the newest leak...without luck!

I am talking about the actual 'phone' app that is running.(not the Settings app as i said in my first post, sorry for that mistake)
I don't know, but maybe the old phone app runs flawless, and so then you might be able to use that stk app(the settings are inside the 'phone' app. Which is a seperate program.
The current app for the phone has some disabled options, so why not replace it with the old UI phone app? (Or is this impossible)

Have you tryed replacing the phone app from the old UI with the phone app from the new UI? (If you are going to replace that, replace the right MUI file to!)

I know you tried the stk app by inserting it in the windows folder.
But its the phone app from the new UI that can't enable STK...

Use MPack to create a FW with the phone-app changed(aswell as the MUI file!!!), i hope that works out for you.....
