Meizu M8 FW Version 0.9.3.9 official

There is a 1300mAh battery.
duskator reported on the german section of this forum that he got his 'old' M8 exchanged for M8 SE (with some dificulties) and also upgraded to the 1300mAh battery while at it.

Also according to a thread on the Chinese Meizu BBS the 1200 ones can be exchanged free of charge in Meizu shops.

At least my M8 SE did come with the 'standard' 1200mAh battery
and just now i am talking to a eBay trader in hopes he might be able to get me one of the 1300mAh models.
(I dont think i want to send my only Battery back to my original trader (which told me he does not have the 1300 versions) so that he might be able to exchange it and i might have it back in around 2 month or so '^^ )

Thanks guys I will do some research and contact the dude I got my phone from oringally. I hope the new battery will work in my current m8.

I bought the M8SE from ebay.com, it came with 0.9.3.7 FW. Battery life was an issue with the old FW. With 0.9.3.9 official release, it's faster and better than before

my m8se, that i got as replacement for my broken m8fe, also contained a 1300 mah battery.

battery life is very good!:D

On the 0938 fw i got a nice 4 days & 20 hours standby, with little use.
That´ nice for such a phone.

hmm,,, so, for meizu m8 se, which firmware would u suggest ? 0938 or 0939 ?

0939 seems to me to contain a bit much memory leaks.
So for SE i recommend the 0938

Both models look the same for me, so i am pretty sure it will work.

Yup, just talked to my buddy in china and there is a 1300mah battery and it does indeed work with all current M8's.

He tested while we were on the phone Meizu to Meizu.

That's proof enough for me.

Most of the guys are getting them with repairs or Se. I want to know where i can buy one from. I checked the Meizu site but nothing there I could see. I have talked to a few guys who sell on ebay who are in china about it and I am just waiting now.

i think 938 is more stable and beeter than 939

When I get a new message, it used to show the body of the message in the lock screen (FW. 9.2.7), now this feature obviously has been disabled and it shows only "New message...". Is there a way to change that?

As far as I now, there is "Preview Message Content"-option somewhere....check in your SMS settings.
