Meizu M8 FW Version 0.9.3.9 official
This is a discussion on Meizu M8 FW Version 0.9.3.9 official within the M8 Firmware forums, part of the Meizu M8 category; I think that any firmware after 0.9.2.7 are better than 0.9.2.7. More stability, wifi works better... (nowadays I have 0.9.3.8). ...

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostThis version have a problem.
When the M8 is charging, it's impossible to unlock the screen.
This is a good firmware but, to use the M8, it should not be plug.M8 SE 8GO Black

Thanked 5 Times in 4 PostsHey tat, i just tested it, i have a 16g m8 with firmware 0.9.3.9 running and i had no problem using the m8 when it charges, in fact, when it is only hooked up to the charger, you are able to use all the apps! which if i correctly remember you weren't able to do so in earlier fw versions, BUT when it is hooked upto the computer, the "disk" folder does disappear and you are unable to use certain programs.(that is normal) this is because the m8 is setup as a mass storage device when linked with your computer which allows you to copy files onto it.
Only when you hook it up to the computer!
this is what happens with my m8, maybe yours is different in some way.
Good luck.

Thanked 2 Times in 2 PostsBattery duration
Hi, guys! I want to tell you that new official firmware 0.9.3.9 seems to be the best firmware with old UI from the battery duration point of view. Why i am telling you that? Because i recharged my phone, i reduced the screen light to 0% in all setting (photo, video, etc) (with "Induce light senzor" deactivated), my bluetooth and wlan were deactivated too (not for good, only inactive), my call duration was about 40 minutes for the entire period and...it lasts for 8 days! Yes you read well: 8 days. At least till now i recharged once and obtain that result. I am looking forward to see how it lasts at the second recharge cicle with new fw. But it feels the improvement of battery duration. Good job, Meizu developers!

it is easy...
always the newest official if you want a stable phone
if you want to try look what comes have a look at the leaks
you can be quite sure that there are less bugs in newer versions

Thanked 31 Times in 18 PostsHey does anybody know if we can buy a new updated battery for the M8? I have read there is a different battery in the SE model. I checked ebay and they do sell Meizu replacement batteries but I think they are what I have currently in my phone now. Does anybody know. I would like to use all the features of my phone without it just being a phone.
Anyone Know?
The main question is if I do find new longer life battery will it work with my current 16 gb phone???
