Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsAnd many other phones in the world (green button to answer / red button to hang up) so it would be funny if people were to call M8 an iPhone clone because it's using the same universal colors... I don't see this as copying, and I don't think the call interface looks that much similar now.
Is this how it currently looks?

Thanked 173 Times in 72 PostsSome think this, some that.
Guess its pure the opinion on this new UI.
As many other phones have these same lay-outs, i just want to point out that i want Meizu to go their own way. (the dark way
)
@evow04: if we wait, we might be to late.....
As we know, Meizu watches this forum......
So if a lot of people share the same opinion, maybe Meizu follows the opinion and change the FW before FW 1.0.0.0 comes out. (to prevent unhappy faces)Ben je Nederlands?

I like colors, specially as this phone screen has such an awesome resolution and bright colors... why a grey or a black only theme or choice of colors... AND do not care about iPhone, other than fW, this phone can kick iPhones ASS any time of the day...
More bright colors, (of course not cheezy) better the look and user experience....919263

Thanked 6 Times in 3 PostsCould you please tell me exactly in what is the M8 better compared to the iPhone 3GS (besides the screen resolution)? M8 is sooo superior because it is missing GPS and 3G? Or because the M8's still unfinished, buggy firmware? Maybe because of the few, usually low quality applications (mostly in Chinese) that are available for the M8?
I honestly do not like Apple, but even I have to admit that the iPhone (especially with the AppStore) is a very good product. It has its limitations (eg. less customizability) but what it knows it does perfectly. Unfortunately the same cannot be said from the M8.
You guys just try to be realistic, ok?

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostARE YOU SERIOUS?! ok where do we start? the iphone is HUGH! it is longer, wider, and thicker. it weighs more! it does NOT! have a simple thing like bluetooth transfer! u can not forward an sms only reply to it. does not have such a thorough call details, you are stuck with itunes! the screen u mentioned, and the 3gs which is supposed to be fast is using a 600mhz. processor where the m8 uses 667mhz are those enough for you?.....

Thanked 12 Times in 7 PostsI'm inclined to agree. The spec of the hardware are pretty good on paper but after 1 year there still hasn't been a finished firmware for the phone. This would be okay if it were similar to gmail which was in beta for 5 years, but the m8 isn't even nearly as refined. Looking at the new firmware, it seems like the bugs that were fixed in the old UI are occurring again, almost like they didn't learn anything from fixing it in the first place.
It could be very likely that by the time there is a 1.0 firmware released, the m8 will have been quite dated in terms of hardware, which I hope isn't going to be the case.
