Lost contacts after recovery

It won't since I reformatted the phone's disk in my attempts at getting the wifi crack to work. I believe it's the latest Sprite version (1.3.8) that caused wifi loss for me. I could not even do a backup restore with the new Sprite version. Probably because the Sprite was loaded on a different pathway.

When I looked around the download site for earlier versions, reinstalling 1.3.3 gave me the crack option again. Now I will remember to keep earlier cab versions on my phone rather than deleting them before successfully testing newer versions

i quite like the new firmware... its getting more and more smooth opening apps and sliding on the desktop.

i however find it really annoying, that in the new firmware the "play"-button is not locked anymore.....i often hit the buttons when i carry the phone in my pockets and it starts playing music.. AT 50% volume WTF ??

i really dont get why meizu never locked ALL buttons in "lock"-mode??? i mean... a locked phone should be LOCKED and not partially accessible... who has such a dire need to shutdown his phone that he is not willing to unlock it first...(take out the battery if it freezes will do fine)

the only serious problem i have with it :D (not a big deal to some but) reason for me to downgrade to earlier versions

if im doing sth wrong and this can be fixed... enlighten me :D

Guys, i update to this new firmware...
(but its not the first time to do this problem... )
i can make calls, receive calls, send sms, but no receive sms... :S
the first time ("one month ago"), i changed SIM cards (same operator), and the problem was solved...
now, i change SIM card of same operator "vodafone" but meizu still not receive sms :S ...
Curiosity, i changed to other SIM card of other operator "TMN" and i send a sms from "Vodafone" operator... TMN received the sms ...
:S i dont know what to do...
i tried firmware 0.9.3.6 and still the same ...
i will try FW more olds :S

EDIT: Okay guys --' I dont know how but i change my sim card to other phone... (old nokia) and he receive all sms losts on "network"... change back M8 and its working --'

I, on the other hand, love it that the music buttons are not locked in "lock"-mode. With my old Nokia and my MP3-player, I have to unlock every single time when I want to adjust volume or just go to the next song. So in my opinion Meizu's methos is more comfortable.

You have the same problem?

Can anyone that's running this firmware please send a big sms (3+ in size) to a friend and confirm they get it as 1 sms and not a broken sms or a few sms's.

Have they sorted the bug so you can mute the ringtones and have the fone on vibrate only????

please tell me how tomake a copy of all contacts from simcard to phone?

first make a backup with your old fw(old ui) and then restore it with the new fw (new ui)

I'v read some posts in meizu bbs which have the similar situations like yours. you may check the SIM card setting, the messages may stay there. (for some reason, sometime the messages received in the SIM card, meizu just doesn't tell you). I guess that's why that nokia received those "lost" messages.
