Other test FW leak by Jwong today 11/16

the problem that I have is that I can only send text message to people that have the same company phone (t-mobile usa ) Im sending a lot of text message to my friends using att and verizon but they don`t recived the text, and I can`t delete the text message that I send or recive (I can recive from others carrier but can not send to other carrier just in t-mobile, any help or is just another bug ?

I am very happy to see the daily progress they make and can't wait to get the next official release that works well!

What about that problem with the country code and messages, has that been solved (e.g. you can save one number for SMS and calls)?

An issue I have is the inability to add photos to contacts. Glad to see the ringtone issue has been fixed though! This firmware seems pretty stable right now!

You can add a photo by tapping on the picture frame with the face silhouette, after pressing Edit. It won't show up first, but I made a call and it was there, and after that it showed up at the contact's page too.

Can anybody refresh themes. the refresh button does not work. so i'm stuck with the limited themes on my phone. not a problem, but anybody have the same problem? by the way, just loving the new FW!!!

They need to rework the Themes menu to be compatible with the new UI, so it's probably disabled for now.

Just installed but stuck on the SIM password input page, how do i confirm the pin number all there seems to be is just cancel

Others have reported that issue too, I'm afraid you'll have to remove the PIN with another phone or an older firmware in order to use this new one.

Has anyone got the weather app to work? No matter which city I try I get told it doesn't exist...

I tried that new leaked firmware and Hopefully this is still at 29% complete. tried a lot of stuff and nothing really worked well. Put my sms setting but could not access tmobile t-zones, you don't really have much choice of mms configuration, tried to record a video and heard a hi pitched sound in playback, Can't do anything sim related, however I do not get the password thing like someone mentioned above, and that's it. Hearing that high pitched noise is something I started getting the pass 3 firmwares back. That kind of makes think about this whole thing. I went to Hersey park about 4 months ago and made some of the best videos I could have ever made (With this phone). I did not hear any noise and the phone was usable. That's all I say about this 0.9.5.97 is that at least it looks good........

I can not remember which firm was the trouble free one I think I even sent a sms/mms message with that one. Let me get back to a working one firmware now this was not fun.

Can anyone test if you can send a long sms (3+ in size) and confirm that the person gets it as 1 sms and not 3+ or as a broken sms

I am testing it too but so far i have not a whole lot of good things to say '^^

The new UI is great, i realy dig the new Icon arrangement prelude (press the two dots for a while) and the new Taskmanager (pull down from top). I dig the new unlock feature but the old one (only to the middle of the screen) was more 'thumb friendly'. It was just a click and flip of the thumb to unlock to whatever you want (phone, messages, UI).

The new Media player stanby screen is great too, i makes me not miss the Music Button because you can do so many things while in standby *g*

There was a bug in some of the new new UI fw's: When you unlock from lockscreen (in the middle) then the bar (clock, battery etc.) was still not usable for for example task manager or switching programms. Is it now ok? Can you use the task manager after you unlocked with the normal function?

Yeah J.Wong knows how to make us happy xD by the way, 11.16 fw is really stable no need to restart phone every hour... But can anyone explain how to answer when someone is calling? xD

and again... As with previous 3 versions of beta fw, pluto weather have some problems It works pretty well, but lock-screen function not works propertly because its under clock xD is there any way to move it up?

MyStore dont work for me, even i subscribe at chinese BBS, my login dont work on the phone.
