Windows Mobile Apps on M8 - it works!!!!!

Hi guys!
it was for sure an accident but i found a way to install windows mobile apps...i tried 5 different apps (from somewhere on www) and all of them worked!

all you have to do is install this "new" NetCF and everything is done! There are no other changes!

Please try it and give me some feedback...not that i found the only 5 apps working in that way...

i tried androkkid and touch-alarm for example. i don´t know what the difference is between the "new" netcf and our standard one. what i know is, that i can install windows mobile apps without any error-messages.

I got to try this I have to get one of my other computers out. This computer is 64bit Vista and a lot of software will not run on it. I got this off the web some time ago:

So, did the apps actually work or do you just talkin about intalling them without any error message?

I've tried Touch Alarm (freeware) for example and it installed without an error but i cant find it anywhere on my M8...

What the f....it works!!! Found the Files in Documents/Device/Program Files. The only thing is the screen resolution...

This is the same NetCF-file as in our download area. Have the same checksum and Size. In the downloadarea is only packed in a zip.

it doesn´t work for me,I tried Touch Alarm . FW 0.9.2.7 & Microsoft.NET CF 3.5. the programm shows me assemply Error or something like this !!!!!

Sorry forgot to say im on FW 0.9.3.7

which windows mobile apps does it have support for? just 6.0?

i dont know but skype for wm doesn't works.

WindowsMobile apps don't working on M8!
On M8 works PPC apps, or WM/PPC apps (other words for WindowsCE).
NetCF3.5 - it's a standart library of NET.Framework, only Compact (for mobile devices)

Touch Alarm works without installing any other netcf version. I think its just a accident, or what do you think?
Which other apps working, sb have found other apps?

it´s might be an accident as i said before, but why was Androkkid (which is developed for Win Mobile) not working with my former NetCF installation?

Please give me one app (that couldn´t work in your eyes) for testing it!

Towers of Glennoi V2.1 freeware for Windows Mobile Pocket PC. -->the same, the starnge thing is, that when you click on exit the game screen turns a short time in normal m8 screen size...
Maybe we can bring these apps to the m8 screen size?

the same thing on androkkid. but i was able to change one setting and then it changes the size. all these apps work with a framed window...is there any chance to get this fullscreened?

some apps also start with gapi, but then Im not able to click sth, the touch points are not there where they should be^^
