[PlutoWare] [10/12 update] PlutoWeather v0.1.0.0 weather-based software, Google Weath

As you can see.. the app is pretty easy to customise



However, as stated.., the future forecasts are all in Fahrenheit and dont seem to be displaying appropriate temperature forecasts. Also cant seem to get the wind speed. Any suggestions?

cybermessiah, that looks cool However you should all wait for an updated version, as this seems to be a "just showing that it works" version

FYI:
the Qt*.dll files are very big. It should be eneugh to have each of them once on the system in windows dir, so you could save at least 12mb space.
(could get more if more pluto/qt apps come to the m8)

when a press on unites States to see what cities are available nothing appear , just stay empty (only on united state ) all othes countries displays the city list , any idea ? (I live in Los Angeles California USA)

This is the 1.0.0 version, so this is in beta
I bet we would have another version very soon.
It's the same developer as from PlutoPdf.
PlutoPdf is now on 2.0 i thought, so plutoweather must reach the 2.0 to i guess!

I went into _cities and copied Great Britain as United States then edited a couple of the cities with the local cities I wanted to access. Then I went back and selected the cities and it worked. You can edit it on your PC. You will still have the problem that the current day will be in C while the forecast is in F.

v0.2.0.0 is out

Changelog:

- can manually enter city names
- corrected the fahrenheit error (now everything is displayed in F...)
- if the last update was more than 6 hours ago it will ask you to update
- only refresh the desktop icon option
- other bug fixes

all my temps are in Fahrenheit...is there any way to change them all to Celsius? if not i will go back to version 1 as at least it displays the current temp in the format that is adopted by most counties in the world.
Surely there must be some way to change this.

looks like for him the problem was that the 'now' temprature was displayed in Celsius not farenheit =(
i Hope there will be a Celsius edition or one where you can choose soon.

It crashed mine once so that i needed to take out the batterie.

Froze my phone at the first time too, but now it works ok...using 0.9.3.6

What about the measuring unit. Is it F or °C?

This works great...First weather app that works great in the US. It even had my city. Yay!!!!

the measuring is still in F hope it will be posible to have it in Celsius soon.

The funny thing about the Google API he uses is that it provides the 'today' value in °C and °F.
But for all other days it provides only °F.
So the Author needs to implement a way to tranform °F to °C.
