Currency Converter for M8

Wow, nice work Symen, thank you very much! And so fast! Maybe Meizu would like to hire fast programmers like you... ;-)

Would it be possible to add other conversions, like lenght, weight, etc, like US-EU (pound-kilo)?

You are right, i just changed the regional settings on my M8 and now no more problems like that :-)

There is already an really good converter for nearly everything. Fond if long time ago on a chines website. Started to translate but never finished

then ist time to finish it when you find the time

Thank you! I just downloaded the v0.8, and I was surprised over how simple, but useful it was/would have been if it just worked :D
I got this weird problem where I try to touch the "Convert" button, and I just get an error. Do anyone know why?

I would love to see a more useful UI, but it is fully usable now

Oh suprisingly i did the same (a currency converter) a few weeks ago to get used to the meizu sdk
So i will post it here too, with sourcecode if anyone cares
I did it meizu UI style

It can be enhanced by editing the curses.txt file by adding a name an the course from this curreny to dollars.
maybe you want to try, and for symen maybr good to see how the meizu sdk works

Anyway to install copy courses.txt to device root an currency.exe where ever you want

Its not perfect and its based on basiccontrols.cpp from the samples. It was just a try
I dont even know if it calculates correct :D

The 0.8 is far better to handle due to the keyboard. Good work!

Yes maybe he can take my source and extend it with the update functions Then we would get a nice m8 style converter

But i fear this is more work with C++ and MzMFC then with .net.#
Especially the internet thingy with MFC Classes isnt that straight forward

I tried yours. When i press the button "From", or the button "To" i only get a blanc screen nothing to choose. Tap again on the screen will bring me back to the app. Pressing "Convert" Gives me an message. Maybe its not working properly with 0.9.2.7

This is because you didnt copied the courses.txt to device root. But anyway, i fixed this litte issue

Now courses.txt and currencvy.exe must be located in the same directory

OK, i admit, i had to use 'creative' download tactics (first you have to be on the main page, then paste the download link so that the 'referer' is OK).

I can't create a cab file yet though, when i try to install WinCE CAB Manager i get an error message.

I am going to try to build a cab on another computer later.
