Maintain and Suspend assistant

can you guys give me the lowdown on

what maintain can be used for?

the point and difference between the lock and stanby functions in susbend assistant

how can i run audio player and try out both functions? audio player closes when you exit using "m" button. please explain

Play some music, then it won't quit Suspend puts the phone in a "sleep mode" I believe, and it consumes less power, while keeping the GSM signal alive, and every notifications, alerts too. Music player will be paused in suspend mode.

so just to clarify if i click on th "standby" button intstead of the "lock" button i will save power and the phone will still function normally

Yeah, that's should be true from what I've read. Haven't used it much yet, but seems everything is working fine.

I did try the suspend before, it paused the audio player as N2KU said. I then checked if I could still receive phone calls by calling myself from another phone. The phone did recognise the incoming call. I think I did also receive SMS while on suspend. But I believe under that status the alarm doesn't ring, you only get the display notification.
