App Package Updated!

great job LVL

I am going to update my package.
Unfortunately, not until the 29th of May.
I have not much time at the moment.
But an updated package for the new UI WILL arrive!!!

Do you want to contribute in making this package?
Attach cab files in your posts here in this thread, then I will include it in the updated package!

i cant seem to get the route66 script to work to install all apps? ive installed wince loader and still keep getting the message that there is a file missing please reinstall anyone got any ideas for this? im on dao412 firmware

is there a chance to get a Rapidshare link ?

I really never used that script to install everything. During my time of trial and error a lot of the programs caused the phone to hang or malfunction. So I think I may have deleted some stuff out of it to keep it from jamming up peoples phones when they downloaded all this stuff.

I did remove a lot of the trouble making apps when I did this upload. I think this script caused problems also. However, someone did put it in the original post where Silphx got my upload from. Look on that page.

i used the first app pack in this post with the script on a new ui firmware and it worked great i have even tried copying the script from that onto the newer pack but when i try to execute it the script asks me to double tap on a cab i want to install with defeats the point lol

I don't know if it's just me being completely stupid, but i can't work out how to get the installer working.

Can i have an idiot's guide please? I read through all the posts, but i still can't get my head around how to do it. I've downloaded the apps pack, and the WinCE thing, i've unloaded the WinCE onto my M8, and that's ok, but i really can't work out the installer bit.

LVL, first of all, thanks a lot for you apps package, it really rocks!
I have one short question: in a previous version I used, there was a “Total install script” or something like this. It worked really well and I wanted to know if it is still somehow available for the newest version “Meizu M8 App Package(updated 29-06-2010).rar”? Or did I miss something? I did not see info about that in the RAR, neither in this post.
If this script still exists somewhere, before running it, is it possible to delete manually some apps we don’t want? I mean, will the script just skip it or crash? My main concern is Touchpal, it looks everybody likes it, but for me it is a horrible piece of crap as I wasn’t able to fully uninstall it to use the multilanguages finger keys instead. For some reason, it comes back as default input very often.

You can open the '.mscr' file with notepad and edit the script. This file is located somewhere in the mortscript folder. I haven't used my M8 with an app package for a long, long time, so I could be wrong. You can just delete the line where you can see touchpal.cab or something like that. Mortscript is really, really easy to use! You can search it up on google and create a script yourself with a nice manual from the developers themselves.

Brilliant! I even didn’t know such scripting language existed for Pocket PC’s. I did not check this MortScript stuff, I thought it was homemade hardcoded installer.
