    Good Alarm Clock App?

    Hi there~

Just got my M8 and i've tried a lot of things now and id like to know if theres any good alarm clock application where i can put my mp3 as the wake up tone?

i remember i had a good one on my touch hd, unfortunately i dont think this will work on m8 xD

I think it would be possible by using the calendar but i dont really like that :/

If theres anything already on the m8, i guess i was too dumb to find it xD

Thanks a lot, any help appreciated^^

Have you tried the default one yet?
Go to Clock > alarm (second icon at the bottom), click on the gear icon at the top right corner, add a new alarm, and there you will see Ring > Custom (here you can choose any music you want for that alarm).

It's okay, but im not satisfied yet ..
I cannot choose from my music library, so i have to copy the music to the ringtone file everytime, do i?

Can i access the alarm clock directly from the desk screen?

Correct, you have to copy the files you want to use as ringtones to Disk\UserRing directory.
    I'm afraid that's not possible.

Don't forget the alarm won't work if your M8 is powered off.

nor if your phone is muted. i mean its gonna vibrate only, which is so poor that you wont wake up cos of that.

^ Haha, I set it to vibrate and never bothered to reset it. The sound of the phone vibrating on a hard surface wakes me every time.

Yeah, I actually prefer waking up just to the sound of vibration because that way only I don't wake up the whole family

You can use M8profile to switch to a 'loud' profile 1 minute before the alarm clock goes off, makes it alot easier to wake up ;-)
