Develeper “eoc” in meizu bbs, already launch 2 Application by today ....

1. [LBE] 2D SDK demo Photo viewer 2.1.

This application develop use 2D M8 SDK develop by LBE team, also first software develop by eoc. software still in testing version, if open too big picture possible will cause memory full or ‘ hang '. advice after few time run this application advice to restart M8.

Operation just like Iphone.

techinical description:

-Support JPG, GIF(no animation), PNG， support 2048x2048 picture
-32bit (1600M color）
-Multitouch use 2D SDK with hardware smooth zoom capability
-use 2D SDK with hardware double buffer funtion, without picture "broken"

Run:
copy Picture to folder to /Disk/Photo/Photo Album

directory and run VDE_PhotoView.exe in any directory.

Bug:
Few bug discorver and will improve in future version ASAP.

2. M8 DreamScene (demo)

DreamScene is new feature introduce by Microsoft in Windows Vista, which Video file can become animation wallpaper. i (eoc) successfully transfer this feature to M8, and add some my funtion.

currently program structure is complete, now moving to optimization of program.

currently funtion.
a. Video file become background, support 480p de-code AVI/MP4/WMA file
b. desktop icon trasparent effect -- automatic off, touch screen will display.
c. special icon moving animation
d. smooth icon overlay effect (better than official version)
e. no video glitch issue

eoc： regarding to battery comsumtion, video use hardware decode, so power consumption is low, also during standby or application is running, video animation wallpaper program will automatic stop

Wow, the description sounds fantastic, and the demo really looks promising! I have already tried the photo viewer which is really good, but the dreamscape program is not yet available, isn't it?

I completely agree with you! If Meizu would have staff this good, then maybe we already would have had FW 1.0 by now

DreamScene looks awesome! do the turtle/jellyfish come with it? and is it a movie file or a gif file that needs to be implemented?

for regular PCs, video wallpapers are also possible using vlc player. i was just wondering if VLC player can be modified to run on M8?

cant wait for dreamscene to come out, but why is the photo viewer so good? it looks the same as the photo viewer on the phone if you ask me
