There is a new browser being developed for M8, and it's based on the open-source WebKit engine (developed by Apple).
I just tried a beta version yesterday, and it looks very promising altough at the moment it's still slow, and consumes a lot of memory. Also don't expect it to have a nice UI just yet
Some screenshots:

And a video:
How to install:
In the rar file you will find two cab files. First install "Qt4M8 V0.2.CAB" then "MBrowserV0.2.1b.CAB"
How to use:
Tap on the little red button at the top left corner, then on the address bar, and input the website you want to visit with "http://", then press Enter.
Be patient!
I haven't figured it out how to zoom yet.

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsYes, you have to make sure you have enough space left on your Device (not the Disk folder). Maybe you can remove some program which was installed in the Program Files folder.

Thanked 11 Times in 10 Postsit still does not start.
The folder Program Files\Qt4M8 is empty. Is it right?
Should I install it via explorer.exe or the normal installer?

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsI don't even have that folder. Installed via M8's file browser (not explorer.exe), and it works fine.

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsPlease understand it's under development, and functionality is the first priority not the design.

Simple manual (only for this demo version^-^):
Backward: double click (no release), move left;
Forward: double click (no release), move right;
Zoom IN: double click (no release), move down--a little (1.2x), heavily (1.8x);
^^^be patient, for BIG page, it'll be very slow...
Zoom Out: double click (no relase), move up--a little(1.0x restore^-^), heavily (0.8x)
close: double click on the "webpage content" top (Y<50px);
In this version, mbrowser will eat ALL m8 memory('cause mem release failed
), you should close mbrowser regularly to release memory
(ex, after open big page, using for a long time, etc)
when page loading become very slowly or failed (google maps), you should clear the "cache" folder(/disk/programs/mbrowser/cache), the M8 NAND flash is too slow, maybe I should move it to "/documents/mbrowser/cache" in the next version
