Chinese can be cunts like that. if they can't make any money from a foreigner, they want nothing to do with "outsiders" (meaning non-chinese).
If anyone needs help with chinese translation, i'm more than willing to do it. I just bought one of these phones. it's fairly decent i think. There definitely is a foreign market for this phone. It's dirty cheap (for a windows phone) and has a nice interface - which isn't an exact clone of the iphone.
Or...if MeiZu would like to offer me a translation job, i'm quite sure that i can do a better job than whoever translated the interface into english - i still laugh whenever i close the browser and it asks... "do wanting close?" or something to that extent.
I'm nearly fluent in modern chinese, so i would say i'm somewhat qualified for this kind of thing.
If your curious....i'm not chinese, or even asian. i'm american. I lived in china nearly 4 years and learned to speak the language naturaly (i found myself teaching english in a place where only 1 person spoke english).
so anyways...i guess this means happy translating

Can anybody tell me how to register with the app store (fw 0.9.6.12)? Whatever I try I get chinese messages which I do not understand :

You need to register on the website of MeiZu! In the AppStore you just enter your given name and password.

Registering was necessary at [÷È×åÂÛ̳] when I remember correct. But I am not sure, sorry ^^ Just try it... You have nothing to loose.

I was not able to register due to a server error...
But I wonder why the MyStore app has a register button if it does not work ? Register by email or by phone, both did not work. I hope someone can translate the above messages for me.

mhh.. very mysterious i also registered over phone without problems.. maybe a problem at the meizu server.. as far as i know you can also enter a random email adress, because no activation or any kind of validation is needed..

After I have tried with several email adresses, I finally used a googlemail one and it told me that I had successfully registered. But alas. I cannot login with the chosen username and pass. CRAP ! If I only knew what the mysterious chinese messages mean.
I better crack a fortune cookie than registering with mstore.

update: suddenly I am allowed to download, but it still pretty much useless cause every app is in chinese...
