Just to point out to those who may not know - under settings the radio buttons for WIFI and EDGE are to 'unlock'/crack the wifi on test units, and not turn on the wlan - which still needs to be done under settings - so this means you don't need to install M8 cracker seperately - cool, but also misleading a little

A question someone mentioned in one of the threads that the sprite tool backs up network settings as well as programs installed - so that when you upgrade fw you don't need to reinstall everything and reinput settings - this doesen't seem apparent to me - infact it seems like it just backsup your wallpapers and ringtone settings. Your thoughts?

EDIT: I understand backing up programs is really asking a lot - but it would be great if we could backup network settings (and possibly SMS and MMS settings), especially since the folks at Meizu don't seem interested in supporting automatic network discovery. I know i should shut up and enjoy the free gift; but if somebody can drop a hint to the developer that would be great!

this app is just fantastic! I restored everything in no time after fw upgrade!

nevertheless there's a "bug": the program manager doesn't scan all programs/games that are installed on the disk. So in the program list you only find M8 Sprite, but no other program...
Could somebody tell it to the guy who made this app?

Another ting I noted: when you type text in fields the English keyboard comes out by default! How the hell did the creator manage to achieve this? Could we know his method in order to apply it for all text input situations?

the same prob is when you want to deinstall via control.exe...

the deinstaller files are in the windows directory so they where deleted after an upgrade
