This program is chinese-only I guess, so it's no use for us Does it handle european cities?

This software can show europe cities weather

I'm analyze the weater.exe with Radialix-it can be translated(if you don't know how, read my guide in this forum), strings which need be translated at address 0006CD00 at down to it...

Yes there are several cities outside China, such as Manilla, Singapore, London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Cairo, Milan, Manchester, Athens, Bangkok, Chicago, Atlanta, San Fran, Vancouver .... But it's all in Chinese. On Gubbi's picture at the top of the thread, it's showing weather forecast for Paris (top one), Palin (left bottom), Washington DC (centre bottom), and ... Huidong (Chinese place, right bottom)

i've contacted the author he is translating the software to english.Hope the translation will be ready at time.

I'd like to know how often the software updates itself. I can't seem to force a refresh. I'm trying to make sure it will update via Wifi rather than GPRS.

Noticed it didn't have Dubai 迪拜 or Kuala Lumpur 吉隆坡, but had two Cairo 开罗

Kuala Lumpur 吉隆坡 is there, I set it as 3rd city. can't find Dubai

Since i live in Dubai and the app is not in yingun i'll pass for now - hoping the developer would help a brotha out!

Will try to find time tonight to list out the cities outside China. The ones listed in 'Others' (其他) so that people can know which cities are currently available.

You talking cities outside China or within China (incl/excl HK&Taiwan which are listed as part of the provinces of China in the system)?

You could at least use it to get Shanghai's weather forecast, Rabsi. I'm quite sure you know the characters for Shanghai and whatever district of Shanghai you're living in.

I do , but i need to know the IP address of the phone to connect to my home wifi. how do you find it?

the phone gets an ip from your router

maybe you talk about the mac adress?
